Remote IR target for Gefen DVI and HDMI switchers

The Gefen IR Extender is the perfect solution in cases where your switcher is not line-of-sight to your infrared remote control. Some of the Gefen switchers have connectors on both the front and back sides of the unit, making it problematic to position the unit in a way that is both functional and attractive. With this extender, the switcher can be installed in a location that is out of sight. Only the small IR target needs to show. It has a 6 foot cord for placement flexibility, and is weighted so that it will rest on a shelf or equipment without any need for screws or adhesive. If you already have a Gefen switcher, please notice that it needs to be configured for "remote mode".
