IXOS XFV05 Male DVI-D to Male DVI-D Cable.

The IXOS XFV05 is an entry level DVI-D to DVI-D cable, capable of resolutions to 2048 x 1536. Featuring gold plated connectors and twin shielding, the XFV05 offers a great performance and a fantactic low price.

DVI is an uncompressed, all-digital video only interface supported by the consumer electronics industry. DVI can transmit standard as well as high definition video formats utilising a single cable. Because DVI is all digital, there is no signal loss due to the digital analogue conversion process. This allows DVI to deliver outstanding high definition pictures with superior resolution, clarity and colour balance.

DVI is very similiar to HDMI without the audio signal being transmitted and is fully backwards compatible.

The IXOS XFV05 has been designed to connect and transfer digital video signals between a DVD, PC or a Satellite/Cable box and the following components: AV Processor, LCD Display, Plasma, Projector and TV. This cable can be used between DVI-D & DVI-I, DVI-I & DVI-I, as well as DVI-D & DVI-D connections.
