The CLEARTRACK is an elegant flexible quadruple conductor loudspeaker cable with outstanding qualities.
The CLEARTRACK is a member of our AWG 14 quadruple lead / bi-wiring loudspeaker cable range which consists of of The CLEARTRACK, The SNOWTRACK and The SKYTRACK HYBRID.
Each of its four leads contain 98 high purity dense Silver coated high purity Matched Crystal OFC strands with an effective cross-section area of 1.97 mm, closely approaching AWG 14. The resistance of each lead is 0.9 Ohm per 100 m. The capacitance between two adjacent leads is a low 45 pF/m. The CLEARTRACK is 16.5 mm wide and 4.2 mm thick.
The cable’s jacket is made of transparent HULLIFLEX ® 3, a robust halogen free material excellently capable of shielding the copper conductors from the chemically threatening outside world. Sonically this cable is a great product with a very balanced overall quality and outstanding clarity.
Polarity determination is simple: the four conductors have different insulator shapes, furthermore, one set has two cuts and the other set has only one cut and a flat surface at the other side with type printing. Printing at 25 cm. (10") distance allows easy cutting of lengths.
It is advised to use the two inside conductors as the cold (-) leads and both outer conductors as the hot (+) leads.
