With its innovative design, the Starlight 5 is made from the finest materials available including state-of-the-art silver tube plugs and Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) silver-clad copper strands in a precise tubular structure. This combination of materials and design produces stunning image quality. The Starlight 5 delivers remarkable picture definition, and brilliant color reproduction for an amazingly life-like video image. It also incorporates Wavesquare technology. The non-linear losses of some HDMI cables distort the shape and timing of the square waves that make up the signal. Wavesquare works by minimising conductor length differentials, impedance variations, skin effect losses, constriction resistances and grain structure distortion to provide distinctly cleaner and more vivid video imagery and audio quality. It is this technology that enables the Starlight 5 HDMI cables to carry signals up to 20m without loss of picture quality.

The Starlight benefits from solid metal plugs which maximise signal quality through the encoding and decoding process, with minimal loss or distortion.

Its remarkably thin profile and flexible design, makes it the easiest HDMI cable to install and conceal. It offers significantly lower loss and higher precision than the conventional round HDMI cable design. The Wireworld patented design improves on conventional designs by providing better separation and isolation the different type of signals transmitted through the cable. Most importantly, it keeps both 75ohm and 5v sleeved and shielded in their own compartments and guarantees an accurate reproduction of 1080p images. The Starlight HD cable is offered with a variety of configurations to meet almost every conceivable need. It is available in HDMI to HDMI, HDMI to DVI and DVI to DVI terminations. The cable also features unique composite shields, which are more conductive, yet more compact than the shields in round HDMI and DVI cables.

Like the rest of the range this model adheres to the 1.3v HDMI standard. The model is covered by a guaranteed performance level. This cable will NEVER fail to reproduce an accurate picture at resolutions of up to 1080p at lengths of up to 20m. This model is UL-CL3/FT4 rated for in-wall installations.
