Fantastic . I am so impressed with my new cables. I’m glad I ended up deciding to replace my old ones so I could see what I was missing!! Val Den Hul the Clearwater every time :) Brilliant!

My System:

- Audiolab 6000a + CDT
- Chord Clearway digital coaxial interconnect
- Monitor audio BX1 speakers

Was using QED Silver micro which sounded a bit harsh and bright with the amps filter in fast roll off mode ( I like this filter mode better than the other two ).

The Van Den Hul has tamed the harshness and brightness without losing any of the detail and clarity, i think it has also given the music more of a fuller and slightly more warmer sound, as before it sounded a bit thin.

Bought this cable just by reading the reviews it paid off for me, good service from Futureshop will shop again, also it would be good if everyone leaving a review say what system they are using.

Cables look well made, though one banana plug was loose.
Do note that the price is per cable, not per pair...

Excellent. You could hear each instrument very clearly and the treble is outstanding.

I have a front three comprising of Kef LS50 and the van den hull cable has really bought them to life, treble detail shines through. The best Speaker cable I have ever used.

I really like the cable but I wish that I hadn't bothered with the banana plugs. They are of a "screw together" nature. They were loose when they arrived, so I screwed them tight. They seem to have come loose again. To be honest I could have just used some similar "screw together" plugs that I already had. I can't see how it is an "airtight fusion" as described above.

Bought VDH The Clearwater in 6mtr lengths. The cable arrived within a couple of days and sounds perfect. Great service, would definitely recommend Futureshop.

Excellent service.... Cables delivered within 36 hours despite not paying for "priority" postage! These cable are of exceptional quality. The feel of them, very soft jacket covering enables easy routing... Not an issue for me, though may be to others. The plugs look great too, adding that extra visual appearance to the quality of the product.

Sound improvements though subtle are worthwhile. To my ears the sound is better balanced with added clarity.... Very worthwhile as part of an ongoing system upgrade.
