A linear supply for the box you already own
Sbooster build one thing well: linear power supplies that replace the switching adaptor that came with a device. The company started in the Netherlands in 2008, upgrading the supplies on Logitech Squeezebox players, and has stayed on that single problem since.
BOTW stands for Best of Two Worlds, and the range covers the common voltages, each model offering three selectable settings rather than being fixed to one. A self-locking interchangeable tip system handles the connector, so a supply bought for a streamer today can power something else later. The Ultra modules add a further filtering stage between supply and device, and the supplies are certified by TÜV Rheinland.
The equipment most worth treating is whatever sits closest to the digital signal path: streamers, DACs, network switches and routers.
Voltage, current and connector polarity all have to match. Sbooster publish a compatibility list covering specific makes and models, which is the quickest way to confirm before ordering.

£112.50Ex. VATThe Sbooster AIB (Active Interface Board) is an internal upgrade for the Bluesound Node that bypasses and replaces its onboard switching power supply with clean linear power. It takes 6V DC from an external Sbooster BOTW P&P ECO MKII supply and actively regulates it down to 5V through a dual-stage non-inductive low-pass filter. It fits the Node N132, Node X and Node N130, and requires the BOTW supply, which is sold separately.
