MOON by Simaudio

Are you passionate about music and desire a unique personal listening experience, yet don’t have the urge to build a “full blown” music system? Are you looking for the perfect desktop solution for a computer-based audio system? Do you already own a high-performance music system and have a craving to listen to headphones without making a compromise? If you already have a MOON system, this can be the control centre for a secondary system. Or do you simply want to get maximum performance from your reasonably efficient, unbalanced headphones? The possibilities are endless…

Imagine a world of music right at your fingertips. The 280D makes this a reality. Simply launch your favourite music services app on your smart device and pair it to the 280D using Bluetooth technology. Then sit back and enjoy the music.

The 430HA is a genuine “tour de force” loaded with numerous state-of-the-art features. This fully balanced, pure analogue headphone amplifier uses a discrete transconductance circuit topology, selectable gain setting (14 or 20dB), an oversized power supply and a defeatable analogue crossfeed circuit. Rated at 667mW at 600 ohms and 8W at 50 ohms, the 430HA will effortlessly drive any headphone to its full potential

The MOON 390 is a multi-function crossover type product that has the function of a modern network player, DAC, preamplifier, headphone amplifier, and phono stage. Roughly, it combines the feature set of both older model 350P and 380D and adds further. Another point of view: it can be seen as an All-in-One without a power amplifier. Still, it will be pricier than Moon's All-in-One ACE as it is of a higher pedigree and higher performance level. The 390 was the first new product to benefit from MiND 2 streamer technology.

Please note, the listed price of £6,150 is for the version that does not feature HDMI ports. The version with HDMI ports retails at £6,900.
