Roughly, it combines the feature set of both older model 350P and 380D and adds further. Another point of view: it can be seen as an All-in-One without a power amplifier. Still, it will be pricier than Moon's All-in-One ACE as it is of a higher pedigree and higher performance level. The 390 was the first new product to benefit from MiND 2 streamer technology.

The MOON 390 features the new MiND2 streaming module. MiND2 (MOON intelligent Network Device) is a fabulous way of organizing, streaming and listening to your music. MiND 2 allows the playback of all the most common file formats, including DSD and MQA (via local files and TIDAL Master files). The MiND2 also boasts a USB host port, permitting access to music on USB thumb drives. Finally, MiND2 will also stream any digital input of the 390 to other MiND zones on the same network.

The SimLink™ connection allows for control of any SimLink equipped MOON system, enhancing ease of use, without having to use the IR remote. The MOON MiND Controller App can adjust the real volume control of a MOON system rather than using the most common digital attenuation method. This maintains the true fidelity of the music at any volume setting.

Apple AirPlay 2
The MiND2 streaming module and intuitive MiND app have ensured that MOON has long been the master of music control. The addition of AirPlay 2 further increases the range of connectivity options and will delight Apple lovers as the built-in controls on their device allow them to easily access their music. MOON owners can use Siri voice control to play their selected tracks.
AirPlay 2 offers complete control and lets the listener enjoy their favourite music or podcast throughout the home and in perfect sync. Different songs can be played in different rooms – music can be streamed in one room and a podcast can be played in another. With AirPlay 2 friends can add their own music to the mix. And all listeners can use Siri and say the song, say the room and then enjoy the performance.
All Moon equipment with the MiND2 streaming module from the 14th December 2021 will have Apple AirPlay2 by default. If you have equipment from prior to this date, please contact Future Shop and we will inform you of the upgrade process.

For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
