Spin Clean
American record cleaning system using a simple bath and roller design, and one of the most cost-effective ways to properly wet clean a record collection.
About Spin Clean
Quick Access
The simplest wet cleaning that actually works
The Spin-Clean is a bath. Fill it with distilled water and the supplied fluid, stand the record in it between two brushes that face inward, turn it three times, dry it with the supplied cloths. Both sides clean at once, and there is no motor, no vacuum and nothing to break.
For all its simplicity it removes the surface contamination that dry brushing cannot touch, and on secondhand records the improvement is often dramatic. It will not match a vacuum machine on the most stubborn cases, but at a fraction of the price it does most of the work. The fluid holds dirt in suspension rather than returning it to the next record.
There is no alcohol in it, so 78s are safe as well as LPs and singles. One bath does dozens of records before it needs changing, which suits cleaning a collection in one sitting.
Manufactured and hand assembled in Pittsburgh since 1975, which at this price is unusual in itself.
