The wrong product was sent in the first place, and the help desk, Mark, assisted in sending the replacement without delay.
I replace the Cinnamon Ethernet cable with this Carbon with Telegarner termination.
On first listening, I felt the bass and punch energy more in the flesh, but they were a little bit too bright.
24 hours after the burn-in, the sound was warmer and more comfortable, but the details and fidelity were still there.
It is a very good upgrade and worth every penny.

There’s not a lot I can add to the positive reviews posted, except the difference is that I bought this Audioquest carbon LAN cable (1.5m) with Telegartner upgrades to replace the out-of-box cat5 patch cable that came with my wireless router (I have to use wireless) to connect to the fibre broadband interface.
I had already installed a QSA Yellow ‘receive’ LAN jitter on the router, which, contrary to expectations, made a huge difference in my streamed sound (see my review of the same). Having used AQ Carbon digital interconnections elsewhere and been mightily impressed, I went for Carbon again for the LAN cable, again with no high expectations.
After a period of burning in, I have been taken aback by the added layers of transparency and realism gained by the combination of the jitter and this cable. I’ve mainly been listening to radio 3 Sounds broadcasts, not the highest resolution, I know, but the biggest difference in improvement - Daniel Hope’s violin in Aavo Pärt’s Spiegel Im Spiegel became present in a way only experienced in the concert hall, the sound of bow, hair and rosin on strings very palpable. The massed strings of the superb Sinfonia of London at their Proms concert had an overwhelming impact! It certainly shows the difference between excellent recordings and poor ones.
Who’d have thought wireless connection could be improved so much by changing the patch cable and introducing a gizmo?
Finally, thank you to Steve and his colleagues at Futureshop for all the advice and excellent service they provided regarding this and previous purchases.

Like many people, I was using a high-quality CAT7 cable between my network switch and my Steamer/Bridge and was convinced that this would be fine for a digital signal. After all, there's no difference in zeros and ones, right? WRONG! The moment I replaced the old cable with this little beauty and started playing music, I was beaming with pleasure.
The dark background was even quieter, and the last remnants of digital harshness seemed to disappear. Transients seem much improved, and the phase must have been better, as I got a better-defined soundstage, too. The difference is not subtle.
I can only speak for my experiences, but if you already have a resolving system that produces the type of sound you enjoy, don't strangle your sound at the source—get one of these and let the music really flow! I'm going to have to try a network switch now.

I replaced my old ethernet cable from Amazon, which was of average quality. I installed this carbon cable, and wow, what a massive difference in speed.
The picture quality is outstanding, but the sound is on a different planet—crisper and deeper bass. These new connectors make a better connection to my TV, and streaming is now perfect. This new cable has just burned in; after two weeks, it is by far the best cable I've had.

Recently bought a length of Audioquest carbon ethernet cable with upgraded connectors for my streamer, which was a good improvement on the oelbach I had.
We needed a longer length for our TV connection, so we again went for the carbon, which improved the picture quality, much to my pleasant surprise.
Futureshop has always been my first choice for such cables!

Try it both ways.

This cable is in a different class compared to the Blue Jeans 6a, which is very good but much cheaper. It needs a few days of use to open up, and you must check it both ways. My cable sounds best in the reverse direction, which could be if the cable was burned in reverse by the factory (possible).
It's definitely worth the money if you have a good streamer.

Ordered this as a step up from Cinnamon Cable, Vodka was too expensive, really.
I have recently changed to an English Electric 8 switch and use the Audioquest Carbon cable from the router to switch and switch to the streamer. I already use the Carbon USB to A cable between the streamer and DAC and wanted to stay with the Audioquest product.
The carbon gives more clarity and a more laid-back sound, which is not as bright and forward as the Cinnamon. It also has more detail and separation in the instruments and vocals. As this can be specified with the better Telegartner connectors, which both the more expensive Vodka and Diamond cables have is good, especially as it is only a small increase in cost for the Carbon cable above the Cinnamon.
Very pleased with it as it gives you a good step up towards the Vodka but at a much better cost, great VFM at £95 for 1M length against £379 for Vodka.

I've tried a few ethernet cables between my router and music streamer - the Carbon seems an ideal blend of smooth sound quality, flexible, and good-looking (purple or red cable colours do not work in our living room).
Worth the step up from the cinnamon, especially with the better connectors.

I brought to connect English Electric 8 switch to my streamer. Huge improvement compared to decent CAT8 cable and dreadful Chord C-Line, which was bundled with the English Electric 8 switch.
Full and satisfying sound from day one. The connectors are quality.
