In 1982 Sony gave us "Perfect sound forever," along with the attitude that, "it's just digital, so all CD players sound the same." That was disproved and qualitative differences between players became accepted truth. Next came separate transport and DAC combos, which brought with it the attitude that "all S/PDIF digital audio cables sound the same..." until that too became disproved. Now the frontier has moved once again. Is digital audio really just ones and zeros? We don't believe so, and once you've had a chance to listen to Cinnamon USB, you won't think so either...

Solid 1.25% Silver Conductors :
Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Solid silver-plated conductors are excellent for very high-frequency applications, like USB audio. These signals, being such a high frequency, travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. As the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced much closer to solid copper cable. This is an incredibly cost effective way of manufacturing very high-quality USB cables.
Solid High-Density Polyethylene Insulation :
Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and then later released as distortion. Solid High-Density Polyethylene Insulation ensures critical signal-pair geometry while minimizing insulation-induced phase distortion.
Gold-Plated Terminations :
Precision gold-plated plugs are carefully attached with the very best solder. Through choice of flux and metallurgy, AQ solder has been optimized to make a low-distortion connection. The difference you hear between solders is a result of connection quality. AQ solder does not have a high silver content because the more silver there is in solder, the more difficult it is to make a good connection.

I bought a Wiim Ultra streamer and was pleased to read that it had a USB out to be used with a DAC. My Technics SU700M2 amp has a USB input, and I wanted to take full advantage of the Technics dealing with the clocking rather than the Wii. I tried a standard generic cable that came with a Bluesound Node years ago. I wasn't impressed, so I reverted back to Coax.
I then read up on the Audioquest USB cables and thought I'd give it a go. Great cable and a world away from the other one. Cables DO make a difference. They do not change the sound, good cables just let it through without interference or coloration in my opinion.

So, read reviews on Amazon, and a couple of nay-sayers will tell you there's no difference between this and any other cable, as it only conducts ones and zeros.
Ignore these reviews, as they are written by people using inferior equipment, are clueless about the sum total of many subtle improvements, or are hard of hearing (but then there are none so deaf as those that cannot hear)!
This cable has wrought small improvements everywhere. There is a more open sound, more HF detail, tighter bass, and significantly improved dynamics.
I've upgraded from QED Graphite, using a laptop as a source via Chord Qutest, Lehmann Linear Headphone amp and Beyer T5 headphones. Not ultra hi-fi, but more than good enough to hear the difference, and the difference is worth having.

This is a fantastic sounding cable. So open, pure and dynamic. It comes into its own when listening to internet radio which demonstrates its qualities perfectly. Speech is so clear and three dimensional that presenters are almost lifelike. Classic FM and Radio Paradise are just gorgeous to listen to.

The difference is not subtle when i upgraded from my USB stock cable. It’s like it removed a big haze from the sound. I didn’t expect that. I recommend this product to get the best of your hardware.

I was quite prepared to hear no difference and get my money back. Particularly as my ears are getting older and not as sensitive as they used to be.
Unfortunately for my wallet, when compared to a brand new cheaper USB cable there was a distinct difference, the sound was cleaner, crisper and each instrument more distinct.
It's not just my imagination as my family could hear the difference too. Having heard the difference I can't go back to the inferior sound of the budget cable so am £60 worse off!

Having recently purchased a new powered USB hub for my PC, I needed a longer Type A to Type B usb cable than the one supplied with the hub in order to reach my PC from the hub on my desk. I also wanted to upgrade to a better-quality cable in an attempt to enhance the picture/sound quality from my webcam, which I have been using much more than usual during lockdown in my job. I'm pleased to say that this new AudioQuest cable does seem to have improved the sound and picture. It is also very solidly made with robust high quality connectors.

I have a HP laptop running Windows 10 which I use to stream music using the Amazon HD service. This was connected to my Roksan Blak amp [which powers a pair of Epos K3 speakers] using a standard 'out of the box' USB cable. Using the AudioQuest Cinnamon USB has truly opened the door.
There is more detail, greater separation, improved depth and tighter, punchier bass. Highly recommend as an upgrade.

Worth to have one. I upgraded from AudioQuest Pearl to this. The details from music, especially symphonies, is now more clear than the previous Pearl cable. Also, the sound stage is a little bit wider in comparison. Worth to have a try!
