The AudioQuest HD6-Forest aerial cable is supplied in a white CL3 PVC jacket, wrapped in a shield of 90% covergae of Foil + Braid. The metal within is 0.5% Silver with a gauge size of 18 AWG. We finish the cable off by using the ITC-18 Gold-Plated Connectors which are used to maximise signal transfer and ensure a reliable long-term connection. A true 75 Ohm cable construction ensures faithful picture and sound transmission. Perfect for high end custom installs over short or long cable runs the AudioQuest HD6-Forest Aerial cable connects your TV or digibox to your aerial socket for sharp, vivid pictures and dynamic sound.
Hard-Cell Foam Insulation:
Hard-Cell Foam insulation is used exclusively in most of AudioQuest’s video and digital audio cables. Similar to Foamed-PE, it is nitrogen injected to create air pockets. ‘Hard’ foam is used because the stiffness of the material allows the conductors in the cable to maintain the same relationship with each other along the full length of the cable, thus ensuring that the characteristic impedance of the cable is consistent.

Shielding always plays an important role in any cable design, but the shield on coax interconnect plays an especially important role because it functions not only as a shield but a return path as well. Because of this, AudioQuest pays special attention to the shield’s metal quality and the fabrication techniques as both will affect the sound and the picture.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

The AudioQuest HD6-Forest Aerial Cable consistently receives praise for superior build quality, featuring robust shielding, tight-fitting connectors, and noticeably thicker construction than budget alternatives. When the cables arrived, I was very pleased with the quality of the aerial cables and connectors. I could see the quality of the product immediately. When I began replacing the old cables, I was amazed to see how much thicker these cables were compared to my old aerial cables, and I could see a massive improvement in the F-type connections and male plug connections.
These definitely made my old cables look and feel inferior. Once I had completed the set-up, I returned the TVs and could see a noticeable improvement in the picture.
I am so pleased I took the leap and purchased these, despite their expense; it was worth it just to see the improvement in picture quality and overall quality of these products. A big thumbs up and a big thanks to the team for taking the time to speak with me.

This is my second purchase from Futureshop, and it's always been a prompt delivery.
I rang and spoke to Geoff who was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable, he advised me as to the correct parts needed and arranged for it to be despatched that afternoon.. it arrived next morning and fitted perfectly so our new TV was up and running within 24 hours of speaking with Geoff. The return of the incorrect one was sorted out and returned after Christmas!

Quick turnover and delivery over the Xmas period were better than I had expected, given the postal strike. I'd heartily recommend Future Shop.
Easy recommendation.
This was despite an auto search for channels several times. Following excellent advice, I purchased a bespoke coaxial cable, straight-ended, which has completely cured the problem. Reasonably priced for a great product.
The AudioQuest cable has good quality coaxial connectors/termination with good cable shielding. My homemade aerial cable had poor quality connectors, which often worked lose as I altered the angle of the TV on the wall-mounted swivel arm.
The AudioQuest connectors have a far better/tighter fit, which has improved signal strength and, as a result, no more pixelation. I purchased male coax to right angle plug. The right-angle plug didn't fit on my Samsung TV as hoped, but this is due to poor location of the aerial socket on the TV. The right angle is now on the wall socket, reducing the cable's stress.
This is an excellent cable at a sensible price.

Very pleased with the results; whilst it’s not a night and day change, there is definitely an improvement in picture quality, especially with standard-definition programs.
I’m upgrading my TV and need to be sure the Virgin feed is as good as I can get it.

The cable arrived two days later, having been custom built, together with some other custom built cables which I had ordered at the same time.
Until the new cable arrived, I had been using the indoor antenna which was supplied with the Rotel tuner. This was giving rather poor results, with a hissy sound in FM & an almost unusable signal with DAB. With the new AQ cable, the hiss was gone from the FM, & I got the full 5 bars in DAB, with a nice, clear sound. No surprise there, but it does show what difference a decent cable & antenna can make.
Build quality is good, thoroughly recommended cable & retailer.
The audioquest cable instantly provided a stronger, interference free signal and stopped all sorts of issues such as station drop out and bad screen pixelation. If you are looking for a shielded coax cable, look no further.
