Blustream CMX88CS-V2 8x8 4K HDMI 2.0 Matrix
The Blustream CMX88CS-V2 is an 8x8 4K HDMI 2.0 matrix switcher from Blustream's Contractor Series, built for custom installers and professional integrators who need to share eight sources across eight independent displays. Any input can be routed to any output, so a single rack of satellite boxes, streamers, games consoles and Blu-ray players can serve every room or screen in a home, bar, office or meeting space. The CMX88CS-V2 is the second generation of the CMX88CS, keeping the same 8x8 HDMI 2.0 core while reworking the audio, control and power connections around a 1U, 19-inch rack-mount chassis.
The CMX88CS-V2 supports the full HDMI 2.0 18Gbps specification, passing video up to 4K UHD 60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR, and is HDCP 2.2 compliant for protected 4K content. Mixed display estates are handled by per-output down-conversion: a screen limited to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 or 1080p receives a version it can show, while every other output continues to display the original full-resolution 4K signal. Advanced EDID management can be set per source input, from a library of preset EDIDs, two user-uploaded EDID files or a copy taken from a connected display, which helps sources settle on the right format quickly and keeps switching reliable. Multichannel surround sound, including object-based audio formats, is passed through as a bitstream in line with HDMI specifications.
For distributed audio, each of the eight HDMI zones can be broken out simultaneously to balanced or unbalanced analogue stereo on 5-pin Phoenix connectors and to optical digital (S/PDIF), ready for zone amplifiers or soundbars. Control is available from the front panel, the supplied IR remote, RS-232, TCP/IP and a built-in web interface with eight recallable presets, CEC control and individual user permissions, and third-party drivers are available for the major control platforms. A rear-panel IR control port with a selectable 5V or 12V IR setting allows the matrix to be controlled from a remote location. Power comes from a 24V 2.71A DC supply with a locking 4-pin DIN connector, and the casing measures 437mm wide, 226mm deep and 44mm high, with a rack-mounting kit supplied.

HDMI matrices and switches route your sources
Blustream's HDMI matrices and switches let you send several sources to several displays. The range includes 4x4 matrices such as the MX44AB-V2 and smaller switches such as the SW21AB-V2 and SW41AB-V2. A presentation switch, the MFP112, suits meeting rooms. HDBaseT extenders carry signals over distance
HDBaseT sends video, audio and control over a single network cable, which lets you place a display well away from its source. Blustream lists receivers such as the RX70AMP, which includes an amplifier, and extender sets such as the HEX100HDVGA-KIT.
Converters and cables fill the gaps
Audio extractors and converters, including the CAT100AU, DAC12AU, HD11AU, ADC11AU and DIG11AU, let you pull audio out of an HDMI signal or convert its format. Micro HDMI cables are also available, which helps when a source has only a micro connector.

Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
