Campfire Audio Time Stream Silver Headphone Cable
The Campfire Audio Time Stream Silver is a pure silver IEM cable for listeners who want to push the performance of their existing MMCX-equipped in-ear monitors toward greater resolution and transparency. All four 24 AWG conductors are individually enamelled pure silver, a material choice that brings a consistently wider soundstage, improved high-frequency brilliance, and a more controlled and refined low end compared to copper or silver-plated copper alternatives. Where the Time Stream Duet offers a warmer, more blended character through its mixed conductor design, the Silver is the more revealing and analytical option, prioritising detail retrieval and speed across the frequency range.
The cable shares the same practical construction as the Duet, using a soft ribbon-style smoky grey jacket that resists tangling and remains supple and comfortable during extended use. PVD aluminium termination housings protect the connector joints from daily wear, while a built-in chin cinch and aluminium Y-split allow the fit to be adjusted and secured. Campfire's custom matrix MMCX connectors are engineered for longevity, rated for thousands of connect and disconnect cycles without degradation in connection quality.
Gold-plated terminations are available in both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced configurations, giving compatibility with a wide range of portable and desktop sources. For listeners whose priority is maximum clarity and soundstage width from their in-ear monitors, the Time Stream Silver represents a focused and well-executed upgrade path.

Design and assembly stay in Portland
Campfire says every stage from design to shipping happens in its Portland workshop. Earphones are assembled by hand and checked before they leave. For you, that means a small-scale approach to build, with the same people responsible for each stage.
The earphone range covers several driver layouts
Campfire's lineup includes models such as the Chimera, Astrolith, Andromeda, Orion, Lyra and Jupiter, and several of them use multiple drivers in each earpiece. Check the product page for driver details, as the layout changes from model to model.
A portable DAC and amplifier sits alongside
The Relay is a portable DAC and amplifier for use between a phone or computer and a pair of earphones. Campfire describes its tuning approach as organic. That is the maker's own wording, so compare the specifications and listen to a few models if you can.
