Chord C-Lite Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable
The Chord C-lite optical cable is an original Chord Company design. The C-lite is available in a variety of lengths, fitted with both Toslink and mini-jack optical plugs. This means it can be connected to many of the miniature DACs and DAPs currently available, without having to use a signal degrading adaptor. There are 15cm and 30cm versions available for use with portable headphone amplifiers and DACs, available in mini-jack to Toslink and mini-jack to mini-jack configurations.
The Chord C-lite uses a wide bandwidth PMA optical cable the ends of which have been polished to improve bandwidth. The central conductor is protected by an internal jacket of soft PVC which is then covered with a hard skin PVC outer jacket. This helps to prevent crush damage and is flexible enough to allow a tight bend radius without affecting the light carrier.
The Chord C-lite is available in 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m, and 10m lengths in both Toslink to Toslink and mini-jack to Toslink configurations. For portable equipment, the C-lite is available in 15cm and 30cm lengths, in Toslink to mini-jack and mini-jack to mini-jack configurations.
To Obtain the Best Performance From This Cable :
- Switch off all equipment before fitting or removing cables.
- The C-lite cable is not directional and can used in either direction.
- When fitting or removing, always use the plug and never pull directly on the cable.
- Avoid touching the tip of the plug.
- If the cable is frequently removed it is worth keeping the end caps that are supplied with the cables and replacing them when the cable is disconnected. This will protect the polished optical signal cable ends.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

Top quality cable. Won’t disappoint
And wow, what an improvement in sound! Remarkably clearer vocals and improved bass make this well worth the money in the end.
Delivery was amazing by Future Shop - ordered Friday afternoon- and received Saturday morning!
But there's only one unfortunate thing: I ordered mini-Toslink to mini-Toslink, and I received mini-Toslink (round shape) to jack(square shape) terminal cable.
The product I originally ordered was out of stock, so I made an additional payment as a replacement and even checked it by e-mail with the person in charge, but it came with the wrong terminal.
I just use it cause it's hard to return.
The response was kind, so I'll give you 5 stars. :)

The Chord Company C-lite optical cable is a superb digital interconnect I have one in the 15cm length with Toslink to mini-jack the smallest optical cable The Chord Company makes for use with my Chord Mojo DAC & my Astell & Kern AK100 II digital audio player.
This little cable is spot on and perfect for high end portable digital audio systems & the only one of this length on the market to my knowledge....well done to The Chord Company in producing such a great optical cable!
