Chord C-ScreenX Speaker Cable - Custom Length
The C-ScreenX Speaker Cable is a discreet, shielded cable enhanced by Chord's XLPE insulation. The use of shielding in this cable sets it apart from competitors at the same price range. Its small 9mm diameter and flexible white cable make it a good option for audio or home-cinema systems.

ChordOhmic Silver-Plated Banana & Spade Plugs
Chords ChordOhmic silver-plated loudspeaker plugs are designed to bring both the electrical and sonic benefits of silver to speaker cables.
Silver-plating not only makes sense from an electrical point of view, it can give an audibly superior result during listening tests, when compared with gold plated connectors. Plugs will also benefit from a major clean, using a good contact cleaner or enhancer.
C-screenX features multi-stranded oxygen-free copper conductors, insulated with XLPE and arranged in a twisted-pair configuration to reduce interference. This cable is custom-made according to customers specific requirements as selected by the various drop-down options above. Future Shop’s highly experienced engineers professionally terminate Chord Cable’s using their superb silver-plated ChordOhmic plugs.
ChordOhmic is Chord’s new silver-plated termination option designed to bring both the electrical and sonic benefits of silver to your speaker cable. Future Shop terminates Chord speaker cables using Chord’s special HEXGUN. An airtight crimp is applied to the plug creating a secure and protected termination. This is a solder-free, airtight fusion between the cable and plug offering optimum signal transfer, excellent signal quality and perfect long-term performance. Furthermore, the banana plug itself is in contact with the binding post again at 360 degrees. The net effect of this is it maximises the signal transfer from the plug into your equipment and hence a superior performance. When a bare wire is used not all the conductors are in contact with the binding post and as a result, some loss occurs.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.

I bought a Denon CEOL 7 second-hand from eBay with the intention of building a system all-in with a sub and speakers for £600 or so. This cable quickly secured its place as a great partner for the Denon and a pair of Mission LX2 MK2 speakers. Both the girlfriend and i conducted a number of changes to cables, fuses and plugs with the emphasis being on what sounded best to us. Whilst it was not surprising that this cable at £11/m sounds better than another Chord cable at £5/m, what was unexpected was that when connected to the Denon, it sounds better than Rumour X, which retails at £20/m and was a What hifi award winner.
Compared to the C screen, the Rumour X sounds sort of muddy and bloated, whereas this cheaper cable sounds musical, nimble, and really nicely engaging. When fitted to the CEOL and LX2 set up this cable sounds better than anything else i have so far tested. However, I am hoping to try both Tellurium Blue 2 at some point and maybe Van der Hul Cs122. By that time, I should have a final evaluation in place.
If your amp is in the ballpark of £350 and matched with stand-mount speakers around £200 i would definitely say give this cable a try i think you should find it very musical and enjoyable. The Rumour x clearly fits in better above about £500 (and with £350 speakers to match).
Came extremely well packaged and I'm more than happy with the sound through my B&W speakers. Excellent value
