Connected Fidelity Unity Mains Power Cable with Wirewound Technologies
Here is what Connected Fidelity say about the Unity Mains with Wirewound Technologies
Cable design alone cannot ‘clean’ mains power – cannot ‘correct’ a power supply that often has artifacts within it that can degrade sound and AV quality. Connected-Fidelity now introduces their UNITY with ‘wirewound technologies’ cable, for a quieter and clearer sound quality.
Our Wirewound technologies do not make use of any conventional designs or components, nor unconventional crystals or rare earth products. Rather, a wire-winding principle that we have found to remove many of the issues associated with ‘dirty’ power supplies.
Our Wirewound technologies offer a quieter soundscape, so you hear more music, without reducing dynamics, or altering any of the nice things our UNITY power cables already offer.
Dealer Feedback
“First impressions were very positive. The cable has a clear identity. It presents with excellent top-end openness and transient precision. There’s a crisp, airy quality that gives music real articulation and sparkle without becoming edgy. Piano in particular had a lively, glassy clarity, and vocal detail was very well resolved. On older or slightly harsher recordings, it helped smooth the presentation in a controlled way, keeping detail intact while reducing fatigue. With rock material, it delivered clean separation and maintained composure even when the mix became busy.
When used into a block, it retained its sense of refinement and speed, with good dynamic expression. The character remains consistent — articulate, refined and focused. Overall, it feels like a cable aimed at customers who prioritise clarity, refinement, and transient precision over sheer weight or warmth. It has a defined voice, which is important at this level.”
About Connected Fidelity
Connected Fidelity™ is the creation of Michael Osborn, a seasoned audio designer, engineer, and manufacturer with over 30 years in the Hi-Fi industry. Known for launching the Astin Trew brand and playing a key role in bringing brands like Astell&Kern and Hana cartridges to the UK, Michael has long combined technical skill with a deep love of music. Driven by a desire to build products that meet his own high standards for musical realism, he began developing and informally sharing his designs with other enthusiasts. These products, now available under the Connected Fidelity™ name, are made for listeners who value audio performance that goes beyond mainstream solutions. The brand also supports and launches select third-party designs that meet its high sonic criteria.

Isolation and RF products tidy up the setup
Float pucks support equipment and reduce the vibration reaching it, and RF blockers target radio-frequency interference. Both are accessories that sit around your existing system rather than replacing a component, so they suit you if you want to refine what you already own.
Power products cover cables, fuses and conditioning
The power range includes the AC-2K power conditioner, power cables and CF fuses in 5A and 13A ratings. Some power cables use what the maker calls Wirewound Technologies. Check the product page for the specification, and match any fuse to the rating your equipment needs.
A tonearm sits in the analogue range
For vinyl, Connected Fidelity lists the CF-1010 tonearm in its analogue range. Analogue accessories are one of its main categories, alongside cables and power. Mounting distance, weight and the arm's effective mass all need to suit your turntable and cartridge, so check compatibility before you order.
