Connected Fidelity Unity One Speaker Cable Pair
The Connected Fidelity UNITY ONE is built on the argument that a loudspeaker cable is won or lost on material purity and the quality of its terminations, not on exotic geometry. The conductors are UP-OFC, ultra-pure oxygen free copper, which sits a clear step above ordinary OFC and immediately below the far more expensive single-crystal materials. Rather than a uniform strand size, Connected Fidelity use a deliberately selected blend of wire diameters, on the reasoning that different diameters favour different parts of the frequency range and a mixed bundle keeps the balance even from the lowest bass to the top octaves. In hard numbers the cable runs 2 x 2.0mm squared conductors at 0.008 ohms per metre, with capacitance of 159.5pF per metre and inductance of 0.66mH per metre.
Two further treatments separate it from conventionally built cable. The signal wires carry a natural fibre infill surrounding them, present specifically to absorb mechanical and airborne vibration reaching the conductors. That bulk is why the finished cable measures a substantial 10mm across, a diameter Connected Fidelity accept as the cost of the result rather than a styling choice. Every UNITY cable is then deep cryogenically treated, cold annealing both wire and connectors. The company are refreshingly candid that nobody has established the mechanism, noting no visible change under an electron microscope, but they hold that it reduces colouration audibly.
The terminations deserve attention because of what is absent from them. The banana and spade connectors are high quality copper, pure gold plated, and fixed to the cable by air-tight mechanical compression with no solder anywhere in the joint, which keeps a third metal and its own sonic character out of the signal path entirely. Cables are supplied with banana or spade at both ends, and mixed spade and banana combinations can be specified where an amplifier and speaker want different fittings. We use ultra-pure Oxygen Free Copper (UP-OFC) multi-strand of different diameters to ensure a balanced sound from the lowest bass note up to the highest frequencies. To reduce the impact of air borne resonance, the signal wires are damped. UNITY ONE cables are supplied with either banana or spade ends. Special lengths and spade/banana combinations are available.
UP-OFC copper conductors
UP-OFC wire is as pure a copper as its possible to create other than the much more costly 'single crystal' copper material. This ultra-pure 'UP' copper should not be confused with other OFC copper materials, its purity is significantly better offering a clearer and more dynamic sound quality. Using a carefully selected blend of wire diameters also offers an improved sound quality.
Audiophile 'air-tight' connectors
The banana and spade connectors are manufactured from high quality copper and are pure gold plated. These connectors are attached to the cables with 'air-tight' mechanical fixings so there is no soldering, which adds a different material to terminations and has a negative effect on sound quality.

We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7-10 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe
Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
