Entreq Delphius Digital Signal Cable
The Entreq Delphius Digital Signal Cable is the first product in Entreq's new cable architecture, designed around how a digital signal truly behaves rather than around the assumption that digital is immune to interference. Digital signal is more delicate than you might think: the high-frequency square waves that carry digital audio are exquisitely sensitive to the electromagnetic environment around them, and timing precision, signal integrity and the noise travelling alongside the bitstream all directly shape what a DAC, streamer or processor receives at the other end.
At its core is the Energy Reference System, a separately shielded silver reference wire that works in concert with the Corepoint Signal unit supplied with every cable. Where a conventional drain wire carries induced noise away, the ERS interacts with the electromagnetic field around the cable, with the Corepoint providing the stable reference point that allows it to do so. The result is digital signal delivered with the coherence and stability the format depends on, cleaner and more precise, and free of the high-frequency noise that compromises detail and timing further down the chain. Conductors are copper and silver, insulated with a cotton dielectric, and every connector is customised to Entreq's own specifications.
The Delphius Digital Signal Cable is offered in a genuinely wide set of digital formats, covering RCA coaxial S/PDIF, XLR AES/EBU, USB and RJ45 network connections, so it can serve almost any digital link in a system, from a CD transport to a streamer or a network switch. Standard lengths are 1.1m and 1.65m with custom lengths available on request, each cable is built by hand in Sweden, and the Corepoint Signal unit connects to the ERS wire by a spade connector. Performance can be developed further with Entreq's Max posts, which are sold separately.
What Entreq say about the Delphius Digital Signal Cable
Digital is more delicate than you might think. The Delphius Digital Signal Cable is the first product in Entreq's new cable architecture, designed around how a signal truly behaves. Digital signal is often assumed to be immune to the kind of degradation that affects analogue, but in practice the high-frequency square waves that carry digital audio are exquisitely sensitive to the electromagnetic environment around them. Timing precision, signal integrity and the noise that travels alongside the bitstream all directly shape what your DAC, streamer or processor receives at the other end. Delphius takes a different approach.
At its core is the Energy Reference System (ERS) - a separately shielded reference wire that works in concert with the Corepoint Signal unit supplied with every cable. Where a conventional drain wire carries induced noise away, ERS interacts with the electromagnetic field around the cable, with the Corepoint providing the stable reference point that allows it to do so. The result is digital signal delivered with the coherence and stability the format depends on - cleaner, more precise, and free of the high-frequency noise that compromises detail and timing further down the chain.

About Entreq
Founded in 1999 in Sweden, Entreq is a pioneering company that stands out in the audio industry. Unlike many others, they develop, manufacture, and produce their own products, allowing them to maintain a distinctive approach that prioritises performance and avoids imitating other brands or technical solutions. With complete control over every aspect of production, including constructive materials, design, and connective processes, Entreq ensures its products are unique and focused on delivering exceptional results.
Entreq's two-decade journey has been marked by a series of innovations that have revolutionised the audio industry. While renowned for their ground boxes, they have also introduced groundbreaking products such as Audio USB cables, Audio network cables, network switches for Audio, and DC power cables. Other manufacturers have widely adopted these innovations, solidifying Entreq's position as a leader in the field.
At the core of Entreq's philosophy is a commitment to performance above all else. Their founder, a music lover since birth, recognised the importance of optimising sound quality and has prioritised this goal since purchasing his first stereo in 1973. Entreq believes that performance should take precedence over fancy packaging or expensive marketing, as the enduring impact on sound quality truly matters.
Entreq's early focus on ground purification, introduced in 2007 with their groundbreaking product Tellus, set them apart from the competition. While initially met with scepticism, customers soon experienced significant improvements in sound quality, leading to widespread recognition and appreciation for Entreq's theories about ground and the zero point. Today, their ground purification products, including Tellus and Silver Tellus, continue to be regarded as benchmarks in the industry.
Functionality and performance are paramount to Entreq. Their dedication to delivering exceptional audio experiences is evident when you unpack their products. With years of experience and knowledge, Entreq remains ahead of the curve in development, constantly pushing boundaries to create even more efficient power purification solutions.
Choose Entreq for unparalleled audio performance and discover why their innovative approach and unwavering commitment to excellence have transformed the audio industry.
About Entreq
Swedish maker of passive grounding boxes and ground cables, intended to lower the noise floor of audio equipment.
Entreq is based in Åstorp, Sweden, and its name stands for Energy Transforming Equipment. Its grounding boxes are passive devices that connect to unused sockets on your equipment, such as RCA, XLR or USB. The catalogue also covers ground cables, power and signal cables, and equipment support products.

A grounding box connects to a spare socket
A box links to an unused input or output on a component, and needs no power of its own. It does not replace the protective earth on your mains supply. Entreq says the effect develops over several days after you connect it, so judge it after a period of listening, not on the first evening.
Single-cell and multi-cell boxes
Single-cell boxes include the Silver Minimus, Olympus Ten and Olympus Infinity. Multi-cell designs such as Tellus 3 and Silver Tellus put several independent posts in one box, and larger models such as Pluton, TenTen and Hero go further. The Max-T ground post can upgrade a box you already own.
Ground cables come in several conductors
The cable between the box and your component comes in a standard 1.65m length, with copper, Hexa, Revelation, Apollo, Suduko and Olympus conductors and a choice of terminations. Entreq describes the aim as a lower noise floor, with darker backgrounds and greater definition.
Why we stock Entreq
Every system carries noise that has nowhere to go, and conventional earthing does not deal with all of it. Entreq build separate grounding boxes that give it a path away from your electronics. It is an unfamiliar category and we were early to it, because the customers who try it tend to hear what it does.
