Entreq Max Pa Palladium Ground Post
The Entreq Max Pa is one of two precious-metal posts that form the upper tier of the Entreq Max range, sitting alongside the Max Pl. Palladium and Platinum are closely related materials, but Entreq are clear that their contributions differ: where Platinum brings the refinement and clarity that characterises the Max Pl, Palladium has its own voice, bringing body, substance, warmth and presence to the music. The Max Pa pairs Palladium with the Tungsten base that runs through the entire Max range.
Like every Max post, the Max Pa houses a specific configuration of materials in a wooden body, the wood chosen for its electromagnetic neutrality so the active materials work without interference from the housing. The post influences the electromagnetic behaviour at the reference point of a Corepoint unit or a ground box. In Entreq's own reference system the Max Pa shifts the character towards neutrality: tonally even-handed, with more air, more three-dimensionality, a better sound stage and greater low-level detail retrieval than their reference Max T, revealing what is already present rather than shaping the balance.
Fitting is straightforward. The Max Pa takes the place of the standard wooden cap on a Corepoint or ground box, attaching to the same threaded post and holding the ERS wire or grounding cable in position, with no other change to the system required. It can be swapped for any other Max post at any time, so the architecture stays open-ended, and it is equally suitable for use with Entreq ground boxes and the Tuss Kit. The Max Pa is hand-built at Entreq's facility in Sweden and available exclusively through the company's authorised dealer network.
What Entreq say about the Max Pa
Max Pa brings Palladium, a precious metal closely related to Platinum but with its own distinct character, into the upper tier of the Entreq Max range. Designed for use with the Corepoint unit(s) supplied with every ERS cable and equally with Entreq ground boxes, Max Pa builds on the Tungsten foundation shared across the range to deliver a distinctive contribution to the performance of any host product.
Precious but different
Palladium and Platinum are closely related materials, but their contributions to audio applications are not the same. Where Platinum brings the refinement and clarity that characterises Max Pl, Palladium has its own voice. It brings a sense of body and substance to the music, a quality of warmth and presence that some listeners find immediately preferable. Max Pa pairs Palladium with the Tungsten base that runs through the Max range, producing a post that sits alongside Max Pl in the upper tier of the family.
A step up in the Max range
Max Pa is part of the upper tier of the Max range, sitting alongside Max Pl as one of the two precious-metal posts that mark a significant further gain in performance. Where Max T, Max S and Max Ti each lift the performance of the system audibly, Max Pa brings a step change in the way the music inhabits your room, making it a clear and considered investment for systems ready to take advantage of what it offers.

About Entreq
Founded in 1999 in Sweden, Entreq is a pioneering company that stands out in the audio industry. Unlike many others, they develop, manufacture, and produce their own products, allowing them to maintain a distinctive approach that prioritises performance and avoids imitating other brands or technical solutions. With complete control over every aspect of production, including constructive materials, design, and connective processes, Entreq ensures its products are unique and focused on delivering exceptional results.
Entreq's two-decade journey has been marked by a series of innovations that have revolutionised the audio industry. While renowned for their ground boxes, they have also introduced groundbreaking products such as Audio USB cables, Audio network cables, network switches for Audio, and DC power cables. Other manufacturers have widely adopted these innovations, solidifying Entreq's position as a leader in the field.
At the core of Entreq's philosophy is a commitment to performance above all else. Their founder, a music lover since birth, recognised the importance of optimising sound quality and has prioritised this goal since purchasing his first stereo in 1973. Entreq believes that performance should take precedence over fancy packaging or expensive marketing, as the enduring impact on sound quality truly matters.
Entreq's early focus on ground purification, introduced in 2007 with their groundbreaking product Tellus, set them apart from the competition. While initially met with scepticism, customers soon experienced significant improvements in sound quality, leading to widespread recognition and appreciation for Entreq's theories about ground and the zero point. Today, their ground purification products, including Tellus and Silver Tellus, continue to be regarded as benchmarks in the industry.
Functionality and performance are paramount to Entreq. Their dedication to delivering exceptional audio experiences is evident when you unpack their products. With years of experience and knowledge, Entreq remains ahead of the curve in development, constantly pushing boundaries to create even more efficient power purification solutions.
Choose Entreq for unparalleled audio performance and discover why their innovative approach and unwavering commitment to excellence have transformed the audio industry.

Entreq is based in Åstorp, Sweden, and its name stands for Energy Transforming Equipment. The catalogue also covers ground cables, power and signal cables, and equipment support products.

A grounding box connects to a spare socket
A box links to an unused input or output on a component, and needs no power of its own. It does not replace the protective earth on your mains supply. Entreq says the effect develops over several days after you connect it, so judge it after a period of listening, not on the first evening.
Single-cell and multi-cell boxes
Single-cell boxes include the Silver Minimus, Olympus Ten and Olympus Infinity. Multi-cell designs such as Tellus 3 and Silver Tellus put several independent posts in one box, and larger models such as Pluton, TenTen and Hero go further. The Max-T ground post can upgrade a box you already own.
Ground cables come in several conductors
The cable between the box and your component comes in a standard 1.65m length, with copper, Hexa, Revelation, Apollo, Suduko and Olympus conductors and a choice of terminations. Entreq describes the aim as a lower noise floor, with darker backgrounds and greater definition.
Why we stock Entreq
Every system carries noise that has nowhere to go, and conventional earthing does not deal with all of it. Entreq build separate grounding boxes that give it a path away from your electronics. It is an unfamiliar category and we were early to it, because the customers who try it tend to hear what it does.
