Furutech Alpha Line Plus Audio Cable 1m
The Alpha Line Plus, is the top of the range Alpha Interconnect. This is evident straight away through the quality of the interconnects. The design and engineering show up other companies at this price bracket. What differentiates this from the other models is the use of nonmagnetic 24K gold cast copper alloy. Dress in a PVC jacket that is flexible which hides the high density Polyethylene foam. Furutech use their two stage Cryogenic and demagnetization process which improves electrical conductivity and so power and signal transfer. A cryogenic and demagnetising treatment
The Alpha Process combines cryogenic treatment with demagnetisation, and Furutech applies it to its alpha-treated pure copper. It sits alongside Ohno Continuous Cast single-crystal copper in the conductor line-up, so the Furutech catalogue includes more than one route to a pure copper conductor.
Copper, silver and hybrid conductors
Furutech's materials include silver-plated copper and copper-silver hybrids as well as OCC and alpha-treated copper. DUCC and PC-Triple C copper appear in some of its cables. This range of conductors means the same plug design can be paired with different cable types.
NCF material and interference absorption
Furutech describes its NCF, short for Nano Crystal Formula, as generating negative ions and converting thermal energy into far infrared energy. It also uses a material called GC-303 to absorb electromagnetic interference. These are Furutech's own descriptions of what the materials are designed to do.

- Cable Compatibility: We regret to inform you that we cannot burn-in cables with stripped bare ends or BFA plugs. In order for cables to undergo the burn-in process, they should be terminated or have connectors.
- Timing: Cables will be burnt in for the selected period after processing your order. For custom-length cables, the burn-in process will occur after they have been terminated by the manufacturer or our engineers unless specified otherwise in the product description.
- Availability: Future Shop provides our cable burn-in service free of charge, but its availability is at our discretion. While we strive to fulfil all burn-in requests for the specified time periods, please understand that during exceptionally busy periods, we may be unable to meet the demand due to limited connections on the Nordost Vidar cable conditioning machines.
The Nordost VIDAR cable burn-in machine integrates three key functions into one operation:

Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours

I was using Kimber pbj wires between the DAC and my amplifier and then installed Chord Clearway wire, detail was better in the treble and bass but there was still that 'harshness' in the treble. I was starting to think that it was my Music Fidelity amp.
I did a lot of research and came up with Furutech Alpha Line Plus. One more throw of the dice. Due to Futureshop's return policy, I knew that if this didn't work I could at least get my money back. It did work! The treble is now silky smooth with terrific detail, bass is clearer and reaches down into the depths. Mid-range (vocals) are clear and very realistic. It took a long time and money, but music from my CD's is exactly where I want it. It is no longer tiring and I no longer turn down the volume because it grates on my nerves. I now have the perfect mix of cables. Great cables, highly recommended. Now I need to get on to eBay and sell my extra wire.
Just took the whole sound to new level. Sounds like a different system, extremely happy with them.
I live in France and they were delivered in 4 days so no complaints there.
