Furutech FS-303 Speaker Cable - Custom Length
The Furutech FS-303 is an entry-level speaker cable from Furutech's bulk range, made up to order by Future Shop at the length you need. It is a flat, two-core parallel design in a pearl white flexible PVC sheath, about 4mm by 8mm, with 15 AWG conductors of fine μ-OFC copper strands given Furutech's α (Alpha) cryogenic and demagnetising treatment. Furutech describe its sound as liquid and well balanced.
We cut each cable from the reel to your chosen length, from 1m to 30m, and fit Furutech's gold-plated FP-201 spade or FP-200B banana plugs at either end, or leave the ends stripped if you would rather connect bare wire. For a step up within the same Furutech bulk range, the shielded FS-502 and the heavier-gauge μ-2T are also made to order here, and Furutech's flagship DSS-4.1 Alpha OCC-DUCC speaker cable sits at the top of the range.
What Furutech say about the FS-303

The fine μ-OFC conductors are treated by Furutech's α (Alpha) Process, a super cryogenic and demagnetising treatment. Furutech describe the FS-303 as an award-winning entry-level cable with a liquid, well-balanced sound.

A cryogenic and demagnetising treatment
The Alpha Process combines cryogenic treatment with demagnetisation, and Furutech applies it to its alpha-treated pure copper. It sits alongside Ohno Continuous Cast single-crystal copper in the conductor line-up, so the Furutech catalogue includes more than one route to a pure copper conductor.
Copper, silver and hybrid conductors
Furutech's materials include silver-plated copper and copper-silver hybrids as well as OCC and alpha-treated copper. DUCC and PC-Triple C copper appear in some of its cables. This range of conductors means the same plug design can be paired with different cable types.
NCF material and interference absorption
Furutech describes its NCF, short for Nano Crystal Formula, as generating negative ions and converting thermal energy into far infrared energy. It also uses a material called GC-303 to absorb electromagnetic interference. These are Furutech's own descriptions of what the materials are designed to do.
Why we stock Furutech
We do not just sell Furutech, we build with them. Their plugs and connectors go onto the custom cables we make in our own workshop, including cables for other brands in our range. When you fit a component by hand several times a week, you find out quickly whether it is well made.
