Gefen EXT-UHD600A-12-DS 4K Ultra HD 600 MHz 1:2 Scaler w/ EDID Detective and Audio De-Embedder
Split and scale HDMI 2.0 w/ HDR, and send to two displays and an outboard audio amplifier.
The Gefen EXT-UHD600A-12-DS is a compact and powerful solution for splitting full-bandwidth HDMI 2.0 audio/video with HDR for use with 4K 600 MHz and 1080p Full HD displays simultaneously, thanks to its two configurable scalers. It supports 18.2 Gbps of data throughput and 600 MHz TMDS Clock frequency, the highest specified under the HDMI 2.0 standard. The built-in TOSLINK® optical digital and analog L/R audio de-embedder and a powerful and versatile EDID Detective facilitate the use of outboard audio amplifiers and guarantee compatibility with a broad range of sources and displays.
This product accommodates resolutions up to 4K Cinema-DCI (4096 x 2160 to 60 Hz 4:4:4) and 4K Ultra HD (3860 x 2160 to 60 Hz, 4:4:4). High Dynamic Range (HDR-10 and Dolby Vision™) capability is also built in. HDR delivers greater contrast between light and dark areas of a video image, resulting in tremendous improvement in picture quality and color depth. HDCP 2.2 and the legacy HDCP 1.4 are both supported. The EXT-UHD600A-12-DS also supports 1080p Full HD, WUXGA (1920 x 1200 to 60 Hz), 3DTV, and 12-bit Deep Color (up to 1080p resolution). Highest performance multichannel digital audio including 7.1 channels of LPCM and HBR (High Bit Rate) digital audio formats, such as Dolby Atmos®, Dolby® TrueHD, DTS:X™, and DTS-HD Master Audio™ are passed through to both HDMI outputs.
The EXT-UHD600A-12-DS features analog and digital audio outputs that break out the audio stream from the HDMI signal, allowing the de-embedded audio content to be sent to external amplifiers and music distribution systems for added impact in bars, restaurants, clubs, venues, and corporate offices.
Thanks to independent scalers built into each of its two HDMI outputs, one output can downscale a 4K 600 MHz signal to 1080p Full HD, while the other can upscale an HD signal to 4K Ultra HD 600 MHz, maximizing compatibility in a mixed resolution display system.
The Gefen 1:2 Scaler’s small, low profile enclosure can be securely surface-mounted and conveniently hidden away from sight. Gefen locking HDMI connectors ensure secure connections for long term reliability.

About Gefen
AV connectivity products for home and commercial use, from extenders and matrix switchers to KVM switches.
Gefen is a Californian AV connectivity company, and its current ownership sits with Nice North America in Carlsbad. The range covers AV over IP, HDMI, DVI and KVM, with matrix switchers, extenders, scalers and cables. You can use it to move video and control signals between sources and displays.

Extenders and switchers move signals around a building
Gefen's extenders carry audio and video beyond the reach of a standard cable, and its matrix switchers route several sources to several screens. Splitters and scalers sit alongside them. Support for 4K, 8K and HDBaseT depends on the model, so check the specification.
KVM switches share one set of controls
A KVM switch lets you operate several computers from one keyboard, mouse and display. Gefen includes KVM over IP models, which extend that control across a network, so the computer and the person using it do not need to be in the same room.
Adaptors, cables and test tools support the system
The range includes AV adaptors, wall plates, HDMI and Ethernet cables, power supplies and control processors, as well as test tools such as the DVI Detective. Syner-G is its management software. Check the product page for the items currently available.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
