iFi Audio GO Cable - IEM USB C Dac Cable
The iFi audio GO cable takes the hardware normally found in a dongle DAC and hides it inside the cable itself. Instead of plugging IEMs into a separate adapter, the listener replaces the earphones' existing cable with the GO cable, which runs from a USB-C plug at the device end to a pair of 0.78mm 2-pin connectors at the other. The result bypasses the audio circuitry inside a phone, tablet or laptop entirely, and derives its architecture from iFi's award-winning GO link. With nothing extra to carry, it suits commuters and travellers who want better sound from streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music and Spotify Lossless without adding a box to the setup.
Conversion is handled by an ESS Sabre DAC, bit-perfect for DSD and DXD, supporting PCM up to 384kHz and DSD256. iFi unlock two features within the chip: Dynamic Range Enhancement, which widens the contrast between quiet and loud passages, and THD Compensation, which actively reduces harmonic distortion. Measured performance is strong for the format, with a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 120dBA, dynamic range of at least 125dBA, THD+N of 0.004% or lower and a frequency response of 10Hz to 80kHz within 0.5dB. Output is at least 1.5V, or 70mW, into 32 ohms and 2V, or 14mW, into 300 ohms, comfortably enough for most IEMs.
The cable is silver-plated, using OFHC copper with pure silver, and integrates play, pause, track skip and volume controls alongside an echo-cancelling microphone for calls. It also supports GameChat on the Nintendo Switch 2. The DAC housing is water-resistant, the full length measures 1.37 metres, and the whole assembly weighs just 16 grams. A USB-C female to USB male adapter is included for connecting to devices without USB-C.

Why we stock iFi
iFi solve specific problems rather than selling you a whole system. Noise on a USB feed, a laptop that cannot drive your headphones properly, hum from a ground loop. Each unit does one job well at a price that does not require a long think, which is why they turn up in so many systems.
