ISOL-8 Inline Mains Conditioner
Ensuring your power supply is as clean as possible can bring substantial performance benefits to all systems both large and small. The ISOL-8 InLine is a single channel, one box solution with big performance for the smaller end of the spectrum.
The InLine is truly versatile, suitable for a wide range of system components from any source component, small to medium amplifiers and all-in-one systems. Despite its compact dimensions and affordable price it still features premium build quality and effective performance to combat the two most important power problems that impact audio systems today: DC on the mains and electrically transmitted noise.
The IEC inlet feeds a high current DC blocker that uses the same topology as the acclaimed PowerLine Axis. This stops the degradation of your equipment's vital power supply transformers through core saturation.
The InLine complements DC blocking with a high performance, low impedance filter circuit which harnesses ISOL-8's vast experience in power conditioning to effectively remove electrical noise without compromising dynamic performance.
The single outlet has a continuous capacity rating of 10 Amps. ISOL-8 only ever quote continuous ratings. The very high theoretical peak current ratings quoted by some competitors assume zero ohm supply and load and simply are not representative of real world conditions where line and load impedance are very much higher.
The InLine feature ISOL-8’s premium build quality. Designed and built to last with premium components including Evox capacitors, silver plated PTFE insulated wiring and custom ISOL-8 chokes. All ISOL-8 products are designed and manufactured in the UK and come with a five year guarantee in the UK.
The InLine liberates performance in your system which has been lost to compromised power supply. The InLine gives nothing away in performance or versatility, despite its compact dimensions and modest price.

About ISOL-8
ISOL-8, a UK-based company, is at the forefront of providing top-of-the-line power conditioning and distribution equipment for hi-fi and audiovisual systems. Whether you require power management, a simple performance enhancement, or the latest state-of-the-art solutions, ISOL-8 has the perfect answer.
Established in 2003 by Nic Poulson, ISOL-8 addresses the issue of compromised power supplies in hi-fi and AV systems. With Poulson's background in broadcast engineering and his commitment to excellence, ISOL-8 has emerged as a leading authority in mains power conditioning for audio and AV applications.
Drawing on his expertise from working with the BBC and in audio amplification and airport lighting systems, Poulson recognised the need to address the overlooked power supply challenges in hi-fi and AV systems. This led to the formation of IsoTek Systems, followed by the establishment of ISOL-8 to continue the development of Poulson's groundbreaking ideas.
Poulson's innovative approach has revolutionised power conditioning in the industry. He pioneered using multiple filter sections to combat noise cross-contamination between audio components and introduced DC blocking techniques to enhance sound quality. ISOL-8's use of Transmodal filter technology, which effectively blocks common and differential mode noise without redirecting it to ground, sets them apart in the audio and AV applications market.
ISOL-8 has dispelled the negative perception associated with power conditioning by overcoming the shortcomings of previous designs and their inflated performance claims. Poulson's unwavering dedication to innovation and uncompromising standards has resulted in substantial performance gains for audio and AV systems affected by compromised mains power. As a result, ISOL-8 has garnered a loyal following among those who value exceptional sound quality. Today, the company offers diverse, reliable, practical solutions tailored to various audio and AV applications.
With ISOL-8's power cables, Powerline Axis, Powerline, Substation, Minisub 2, and Minisub Wave, you can elevate the performance of your audio and AV systems to new heights. Designed and manufactured in the UK, ISOL-8 ensures you receive the highest quality power conditioning products to optimise your listening and viewing experience.

After connected the inline conditioner to my Panasonic led TV and hi-fi system, the picture quality and the sound were greatly improved. The picture are cleaner and very stable. The sound stage become wider, the sound are much cleaner and the dynamic has no change.
So happy to have this product and it is very well built.
Alternatively, as its name suggests, it could be used inline with a separate power block. I used an Isotek Initium mains lead to plug the unit into the mains and settled down for an audition. At a stroke the ISOL-8 eliminated the intrusive hum from the Naim Unity, showing that the DC blocking works as intended. But there is more, an enlarged sound stage, a feeling of increased dynamic range audible in cleaner upper frequencies and tighter, more controlled bass. On one level the improvements are subtle. But upon removing the ISOL-8 unit the effect was immediate and noticeable, as if everything had shifted slightly out of focus. It's a definite keeper and I'll be investigating ISOL-8's higher end units for my main system and music server.
Highly recommended.
