Lindemann Limetree Bridge Network Adaptor
The Limetree BRIDGE is a high-quality network adapter designed to transfer music from streaming services and local storage media digitally in studio master quality to existing D/A converters or other devices with digital inputs. This makes it possible to upgrade an existing hi-fi system with streaming for little money.
For this purpose, the Limetree BRIDGE is simply connected with the network by means of a LAN cable or via WLAN. It has also a USB port for connecting hard disks or USB storage media. There is an optical and coaxial digital output. A professional studio engineering sample rate converter makes sure that all streamed formats can be played back on an existing converter without major losses in sound quality.

The Lindemann app
The Limetree NETWORK is controlled almost exclusively via the newly designed Lindemann app which is available both for Android and iOS. Apart from the smartphone version, there is also a proprietary tablet version in the landscape mode. The app allows a fluent, intuitive browsing and searching. A new feature is the simultaneous display of browse view and play view. In addition you can also call up your current play queue. The album-oriented programming allows the playback of a complete album with just one push of a button!
In addition, the specially integrated multi-room function also allows to run several streamers in different rooms separately or coupled. The range of streaming services is diversified, with a clear focus on studio master quality and hi-fi subscriptions. Customers may choose between TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, HighResAudio and Spotify. Through Lindemann's partner airable you will also get access to thousands of podcasts and radio stations worldwide.

Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe
Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7 to 10 working days.
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days.
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability.
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion.

Sound is, as we know, a subtle thing. Only our ears- and brains can really tell us to be happy when listening to music.
I was recommended Lindemann Bridge II as a streamer for my Hi-Fi set-up. It currently consist of Chord Qutest, Yamaha AS2200, RegaPlanner 3, Dynaudio Heritage Special, Chord Epic speaker cables, Interconnect: Chord Clearway and Shawline.
Nerds would maybe say that this set-up easily could be upgraded. Well... I'm pretty happy with this solution and my local Hi-Fi store has guided me in a very professional way. They actually made me NOT buy the Dynaudio SUB6; they said, "you will be surprised and quite happy with your Heritage, and they were quite right.
Well.... why am i only able to hand out 4 stars then? The Bluetooth disappoints me. Bare in mind, that I do not use Bluetooth when listening to music. I'm using cable/Wifi and currently Tidal Hi-Fi. I'm, of course, using the Lindemann APP as well.
I love to watch movies. I do not own a Television and therefore I'm using my PC as television. It's here I have my complaint about the Bluetooth in Bridge II. There is a great time delay between the actual soundstage on the screen and the sound it self.
After having a pleasant and professional chat with Lindemann Audio, I've found out that their Bluetooth module simply isn't up to the task of streaming sound IRL while playing a movie. So... if you are planning to use your Bridge to stream film-sound onto your amplifier with Bluetooth, I wouldn't recommend that solution.
Solution to the problem: buy a minijack/phono cable to interconnect between your amplifier and PC.
I would have liked it if Lindemann would be honest and write this - it may be a minor but important Bluetooth glitch - in the specs.
Enough from me. I'm going to listen to some more excellent music ;0)
