Lindemann Limetree USB-DAC
Equipped with an analogue volume control and a headphone amplifier, the Limetree USB-DAC offers a seamless and versatile integration into your existing system. The rotary knob control and included remote make it easy to use and adjust, allowing for a smooth and efficient music listening experience.
Technologically, the USB-DAC is ahead of the game with its use of the highly acclaimed Hyperstream-II converter ES9038. This means it is capable of realising ultra-high resolutions up to DSD 512 and PCM 768 kHz, resulting in a phenomenal sound image that is both open and natural. With this level of technology, the Limetree USB-DAC rivals even the most expensive hi-fi components on the market.
One of the standout features of this product is its analogue volume control based on an integrated resistor network. By eliminating the usual digital volume control, the Limetree USB-DAC is able to deliver more detail and body, particularly at medium and low volume levels. This attention to detail and commitment to producing the best sound possible sets this product apart from others on the market.
In addition to its superior sound quality, the Limetree USB-DAC also offers convenience and versatility. With the supplied IR remote, you can easily adjust the volume, select the input, and even navigate through playlists on your computer. The powerful output stage is able to drive headphones with 16 - 300 ohms of impedance, making it an ideal standalone headphone amplifier, or it can be used as a preamp for active loudspeakers or power amplifiers.
The design and technology of the Limetree USB-DAC have been meticulously crafted to offer the ultimate sound experience. All music files are re-clocked using an ultra-precise FemtoClock, eliminating any potential "jitter" that can negatively affect sound quality. The result is an airy, natural, and faithful representation of the recording, providing an unparalleled listening experience.
With the use of a high-quality "medical grade" mains adapter and elaborate filtering, this device ensures a trouble-free power supply with minimal noise interference. This attention to detail and focus on producing the cleanest power supply possible is a testament to the commitment to delivering the best sound quality.

Connection overview
Technology
The circuitry and above all the component selection of the Limetree USB-DAC have been optimised down to the smallest detail to offer ultimate sound characteristics.
All music files are re-clocked by means of an ultra precise FemtoClock: the thus processed data are free from “jitter“, the most frequent cause for poor digital playback quality. The sound is airy, natural and follows the recording in the best sense. For the output stage we use one of the finest amplifier modules on the market which sets benchmarks as a headphone amplifier in terms of sound.
For the power supply we use a high-quality “medical grade“ mains adapter to ensure a very high decoupling from any mains interference. Together with the elaborate filtering in the device and special voltage regulators an extremely trouble-free power supply with noise values below 10 µV is achieved.
