PLiXiR Statement DC Power Cable Mk II
The PLiXiR Statement DC Power Cable Mk II is a dedicated DC lead designed to carry clean power from a linear power supply to the components that depend on it most, such as DACs, streamers, music servers and network switches. It is a ground-up redesign of the original Statement DC cable, which PLiXiR introduced in 2016, and it changes both the cable itself and the connectors at each end. The aim is simple: when the DC supply reaching a digital component is quieter and more stable, the music it produces gains a blacker background, firmer bass and a more natural sense of timing.
At the heart of the Mk II are thick-gauge, multi-solid-core conductors made from UPOCC copper, a long-grain copper produced by the Ohno continuous casting process, finished with thick silver plating. The original cable used silver-plated OFC in a multi-strand construction, so the move to solid cores of purer copper gives the Mk II lower impedance and greater current capacity, which PLiXiR links to better dynamics, deeper bass and more convincing rhythm. Teflon is used as the dielectric, chosen as the lowest-loss insulation material. Shielding is a braid of silver-plated UPOCC copper with an additional copper foil layer, improving high-frequency noise rejection and coverage for a quieter cable and a lower noise floor.
PLiXiR also designed new connectors for the Mk II rather than relying on off-the-shelf parts with brass contacts and plastic insulators. The power supply end uses a PLiXiR GX16-4 four-pin locking socket with gold-plated pure copper contacts and a Teflon insulator, while the device end carries a PLiXiR DC barrel plug in 2.1mm or 2.5mm form, machined from a single piece of gold-plated copper with a Teflon insulator and a carbon fibre shell for vibration damping. As a result, the whole conductive path from supply to component is copper and silver, with no brass contacts along the way. The Statement DC Power Cable Mk II is available in the UK in 1.0m and 2.0m lengths, with longer lengths in 0.5m steps made to special order.

As a result, the Statement MK II DC cable provides a lower noise floor, even better bass, more accurate PRaT and dynamics. Statement MK II DC cable Construction
The Statement MK II DC cable utilizes high purity multi-solid core UPOCC (Ohno's continuous casting, long grain) silver-plated copper with Teflon dielectric, an improvement over the original's silver-plated OFC and multi-strand structure.
Besides thicker conductor and shield, the MK II also incorporates an extra copper foil shield which improves the high-frequency noise rejection and improve shielding coverage.
As a result, the new MK II cable has lower noise floor, better current capacity and lower impedance than the original.
PLiXiR GX16-4 / DC2.1 / DC2.5 Copper Connectors
To maximize the performance of the Statement MK II DC cable, we have designed new connectors to complete the package. Not contented with standard connectors with brass contacts and plastic dielectric, the new PLiXiR DC connectors features full copper contacts, gold plated to prevent oxidation and improve conductivity.
They also feature highend Teflon Dielectric for the lowest absorption loss and improved vibration isolation. In our view they are the best DC connectors ever made.

- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe
Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion
