PU-305BDA-KIT – Bi-Directional Analogue Audio over Single CAT KIT
The CYP PU-305BDA-KIT is a bi-directional analogue audio extender kit that sends and receives stereo audio over a single run of Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cable at distances of up to 300 metres, supplied as a matched pair of units. It replaces long, expensive analogue audio cabling with an easy structured-cable run, making it well suited to distributing line-level audio around a home, commercial or installed AV system where the source and destination are far apart. Because it works with standard Cat cabling, it is straightforward to route through walls, risers and patch panels like any other network link.
Unlike a simple one-way sender, each unit in the kit can both transmit and receive, so stereo audio can travel in either direction over the same cable, giving real flexibility in how a system is wired. Audio is carried on RCA (phono) connectors at up to 96kHz and 24-bit resolution for clean, full-quality line-level sound, and RS-232 pass-through is included alongside the audio so control commands can be sent to a remote device over the same link. A Power over CAT function adds further convenience: a single 12V supply connected at either the transmitter or the receiver end can power both units through the cable, removing the need for a second power supply at the far end.
With everything running over one cable, the PU-305BDA-KIT keeps installation tidy and reduces the amount of dedicated audio and power cabling in a system. Each compact unit measures 102mm wide, 25mm high and 102mm deep, allowing it to be mounted discreetly at either end of the run. The kit is TAA compliant, suiting public sector and government procurement requirements, and is backed by a five year warranty.

If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7 to 10 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
