Innovative hybrid design
The company’s innovative Ultra High Speed Active Optical Technology™ hybrid design combines copper core with optical fibre that resists data degradation over extremely long lengths – all without the need for an external power supply.
Pure copper conductor cables three metres in length or more will cause the 48 Gb/s HDMI signal to breakdown where it would no longer be reliably decoded at the other end. By replacing four of the nineteen copper cores with optical fibre, data transmissions will be unaffected by losses (due to impedance mismatch) or timing variances (due to crosstalk) over longer cable runs.

After connecting it, everything worked perfectly — the signal is stable, and the audio and video quality are outstanding. The cable build quality is also excellent, just as expected from QED.
The customer service team was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful throughout. The delivery was on time, and the entire process from ordering to setup was simply fantastic.

The overall build quality, like all of QED's products, is actually pretty good.

Doing some research, I realised that the current 15m HDMI cable was the likely cause of the problem and decided to invest in a new hybrid optical QED HDMI cable.
The projector now performs flawlessly, and the image quality is simply stunning.
I have it plugged from my PC to an LG C2. There is one caveat, not sure if it is with the wire or the TV; gaming at 4k HDR 120hz, sometimes the sound over e-arc or signal not registering sometimes, seems to solve itself over time.
