SEADA SP-H18C 1x8 4K HDMI Splitter with EDID Management & Downscaling
The SEADA SP-H18C is a 1x8 4K HDMI splitter that takes a single HDMI source and sends it to eight HDMI displays or projectors at the same time. It handles resolutions up to 4K@60Hz with YUV 4:4:4 colour, HDR video, 12-bit deep colour and 3D formats over 600MHz / 18Gbps of bandwidth, and it is compatible with HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4. It is part of SEADA's SP-HC Series, which comes in 1x2, 1x4 and 1x8 versions.
Its strength is mixed 4K and Full HD installations. An EDID button selects one of three modes, each with its own indicator LED. Auto mode reads the connected displays and picks the lowest resolution and audio format they support, so every screen gets a picture. Copy mode follows the resolution and audio settings of Output 1 and automatically downscales for a display that only supports a lower resolution. Downscale mode sends 4K to 4K displays and a downscaled 1080p signal to Full HD displays at the same time.
The SP-H18C supports uncompressed LPCM audio and compressed formats including Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. It runs from the supplied 5V 2A DC power adapter and draws a maximum of 10W. Its metal case measures 222 x 83 x 14.5mm and weighs 387g.
What SEADA Technology say about the SP-H18C
The SP-H18C Series distributes a single HDMI source to 8 HDMI displays while maintaining Ultra HD video quality. It also supports mixed 4K and Full HD display environments through integrated downscaling and flexible EDID management.
The SP-H18C splitter allows a single HDMI™ source to be distributed to eight HDMI™ displays or projectors simultaneously. Supporting Ultra HD resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, it delivers exceptional image quality with four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p.
The splitter is also backwards compatible with earlier HDMI standards, supporting displays and equipment operating at 1080p and 720p resolutions. Even if you do not require 4K today, the HDMI 4K splitters ensure your installation is ready for future display technologies.
The SP-H18C Series splitters feature three EDID operating modes: Auto, Copy and Downscaler, providing flexibility to accommodate a wide range of display configurations and application requirements.

- Downscale Mode: Simultaneously outputs a 4K signal to a 4K display and a downscaled 1080p signal to a Full HD display.

Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe
Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7 to 10 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
