Supra High-Speed DisplayPort Cable
With the ever-increasing popularity of DisplayPort as an alternative to HDMI, more and more AV set-ups are in need of a quality DisplayPort cable. Utilising the same cable as the Supra HD5/slim, the Supra DisplayPort offers a step forward towards protecting your digital video signals from interference, ensuring more of the original signal reaches your display. The benefits of this? By retaining more of the original signal, the visual display often results in reduced errors and greater clarity.
The DisplayPort is an interface for computer graphics which now reaches projectors and is beginning to include TV sets. Supra's proprietary 24K goldplated connectors are robust and incorporate a locking mechanism. And, of course, their highly appreciated and proven Supra HD5/slim cable provides lightning-fast, well shielded and accurate signal transmissions allowing any graphics to perform at its best.
All features of the DisplayPort interface is incorporated in Supra's new cable and they are proud to supply photographers, film makers, 3D artists, drawing engineers, computer gamers, etc, a cable that will not slow down or blurr video or pictures.
Supra often meet scepticism when they talk about HDMI cables. ”Does it really matter?” ”I mean, it’s only a data stream? Yes, it is a stream of digital bits. Yes, it does matter. Unfortunately there is an intermediate state before the signal is so corrupt it cannot be read and blanks out/freezes. Many claim that if the screen shows, the signal is good enough. There is, however, circuitry in the receiver which tries to repair broken data stream by buffering and error correction, but this is based on best possible estimates. You might experience sync problems (delays, freezing video moments), distorted colorations, insufficient blackness, noise and other unexplainable artefacts during which the hardware is working overtime trying to repair the fragile bitstream. Do your precious hardware the best possible favour you can by connecting it using Supra digital video, audio, computer and graphic cables and both you and your equipment will be able to fully enjoy/display the show. Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7 to 10 working days.
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days.
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability.
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion.
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
