A technology aimed at the field around the cable
Synergistic describes its Uniform Energy Field, or UEF, as maintaining a corrected field environment so that contamination is prevented from forming, rather than suppressed after it occurs. The company applies this idea to the electromagnetic environment created by the equipment in your system.

Hana cartridges are made by Excel Sound Corporation in Tokyo, and are handmade in Japan. A technology aimed at the field around the cable
Synergistic describes its Uniform Energy Field, or UEF, as maintaining a corrected field environment so that contamination is prevented from forming, rather than suppressed after it occurs. The company applies this idea to the electromagnetic environment created by the equipment in your system.
Cable lines arranged in levels

Handmade moving coil cartridges from Japan, offered in a ladder of stylus and output options.
Hana cartridges are made by Excel Sound Corporation in Tokyo, and are handmade in Japan. The range covers both high and low output moving coil designs, so you can match one to a moving magnet or a moving coil phono stage. Models are organised in tiers, with the stylus shape and the cantilever material changing as you move up.

The tiers are defined by stylus shape
The E models use an elliptical stylus, the S models a Shibata nude diamond and the M models a Microline nude diamond. The flagship Umami Red uses a boron cantilever. Each step up changes the stylus profile, which affects how closely it follows the groove.
High and low output versions are offered
Hana's high-output versions, marked H, produce 2.0mV and suit moving magnet phono stages. The low-output versions, marked L, produce 0.5mV, and the ML is 0.4mV. The right match depends on the gain your phono stage provides, so check the output before you order.
Construction uses aluminium and cross-shaped armatures
Hana cartridges use aluminium cantilevers and cross-shaped armatures. The ML and MH models have threaded mounting holes, a frequency range of 12Hz to 45kHz and a recommended tracking force of 2g. Always check the weight and compliance against your tonearm.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
