A rare true-neutral cable, the Black II is a multi-award-winning upgrade on the already remarkable Black which announced Tellurium Q as an industry leader. This is an excellent cable across the spectrum of sound, providing top-notch clarity in perfect balance with full, deep bass and a wide-open sound stage. Jumper cables are a useful alternative to bi-wire cables that also ensure optimal signal transfer between your speaker's high and low binding posts. For best results, match these with the Tellurium Q Black II Cable.

Please Note: This is for a pair of jumper cables for both left and right speakers.
Tellurium Q Black was Tellurium Q's first cable, and they knew they were on to something special when they took the prototypes to various dealers for their comments and input. One, in particular, would not believe that it could match the thicker, more expensive cable that was in his demonstration system.
Tellurium Q sat down, and after listening to some tracks the dealer was familiar with, they swapped the cable for Tellurium Q Black. He sat forward, looked at Tellurium Q and quite seriously asked what else they had done to his system while they were changing the cables over. Only once he had swapped the cables himself, a couple of times, could he believe his ears. He immediately stocked the Tellurium Q Black. It is deceptively thin and it is small. By conventional thought it should not be able to do what it does and as well as it does it. That is why Tellurium Q have applied for a patent for one of the technological advances that facilitates its outstanding performance.

"The Black II speaker cables are flexible, discrete, could easily fit under carpets or rugs and as such would be very easy to live with in nearly all domestic situations. They are a very light speaker cable and are therefore very well suited to use with book shelf speakers sitting on top of stands. All these often forgotten factors coupled with the overall sound quality at their price point are the reason I can happily award them Best Analogue Cable of 2018. They are a great introduction to what Tellurium Q are all about and if you like what these do, you will love what the other cables do higher up in the range." "An update to an already outstanding loudspeaker cable, the new Black II cables improve on the originals to a remarkable degree." (Read More) Equipment Review - Hi-Fi World - June 2017 |

“Black II is a completely different cable than Black. .. The smoothness of this cable is unique. Looking at both cables, not knowing that you need to look for a Roman “double” on a black outer jacket, we would say that they are the same cables. But let’s listen to them with a few songs, it does not take much time to come to the conclusion that really big changes took place between the new and the old version.” Wojciech Pacula - Hi Fidelity.pl |

“I changed to the Black II after a few tracks and was so flabbergasted by the improvement again that I didn’t bother going back to the Black. Ian Ringstead - HiFi Pig |

“This is definitely a big win for Tellurium Q’s Geoff Merrigan and company. To state it plainly; there is not a speaker cable that I have heard that comes close to the Black II’s performance and whose cost roughly translates to less than $150/meter. The cables are not big or thick but are built very nicely and come with your choice of bananas, spades or both. Tellurium Q plays it close to the vest when it comes to technical information, but as far as sonics go, I was greatly impressed by their performance. I spent a lot of time crawling around between my speakers and amps, swapping them in and out and back in because I could not believe how well they performed. They performed equally as well on planar speakers as they did with dynamics. I found their sound to be smooth over-all, with an open and airy top-end, and with extended bass and a slightly warm midrange.” Mike Wright - Stereo Times

Each speaker cable is terminated to a high standard by Tellurium’s Engineers in the UK using quality banana or spade plugs. With recommend customers use Tellurium’s gold-plated banana plugs where possible. The design of this connector achieves a full 360° of contact when it’s inserted into a binding post maximising signal flow from the cable into the plug and then from the plug into the binding post.

Tellurium Q cables offer a unique approach to cable performance, focusing on minimising phase distortion, a common problem inherent in all cables. The Tellurium Q team understands that all signal path materials act as electronic filters, impacting the naturalness of vocals and overall audio quality.
Instead of ignoring this issue, Tellurium Q embraces it and engineers cables that provide a clear path for the signal, aiming for the most natural sound possible with current technology. Their construction involves multiple stranded conductors of varying materials, dielectric materials, and geometries. Every detail, from solder mixes to plating thicknesses, is carefully considered.
Tellurium Q has developed three distinct families of sound to cater to different customer preferences: the Tellurium Q Silver range offers silver-like characteristics without harshness, the Tellurium Q Black range (including the Tellurium Q Black Diamond) provides transparent and lifelike reproduction, and the Tellurium Q Blue range adds a slight warmth to balance brighter systems. Each range is designed to enhance the audio experience uniquely. They strive to offer a clear, transparent, and natural listening experience and invite customers to hear the exceptional results of their work for themselves.
Having entered the Hi-Fi scene in 2010, Tellurium Q has won several coveted awards and global recognition. With their extensive range of top-tier cables available in 37 countries, they've accumulated 154 exceptional reviews and 14 'Products of the Year' awards from international Hi-Fi magazines. They have twice received the 'Queen's Award for Enterprise' in recognition of their remarkable export growth. Tellurium Q's uncompromising commitment to excellence ensures its products are not just good or average but exceptional, offering customers the best available in its price range.
