Utility, not upgrades
This section covers the small items that finish a job. There is no upgrade path here and no argument to have about it. If you need a coupler, a contact cleaner or a wall plate, this is where it is.
Two things here do more than their price suggests. Contact cleaning removes oxidation from plugs and sockets, and on a system that has not been touched in years the difference is often larger than a cable change would be. Cable management keeps mains and signal cable apart, which prevents induced noise and costs nothing to do properly if you plan it.
Wall plates finish an installation and let a run be terminated neatly at both ends rather than left as a hole in the plasterboard. If you are working out what you need for a specific job, tell us the equipment and the room and we will list it.
