ADOT ASR-100 Audiophile Subnet Router
The ADOT ASR-100 is an audiophile subnet router, a piece of network hardware designed to give a hi-fi system a dedicated network of its own rather than leaving it to compete with everything else in the house. In a busy home, streaming audio shares its network with phones, laptops, smart TVs and video streaming, and that contention is a real and often overlooked cause of dropouts, discovery problems and instability. The ASR-100 creates a separate subnet tuned specifically for music streaming and locally stored audio or AV media, so the signal reaching the system is isolated from other network activity.
The practical benefit is dedicated connectivity for the devices that matter: streamers, music stores, backup storage, ROON Core sources, and the tablet or phone running the control app. Because the hi-fi network is isolated from any access or control outside that subnet, the system is not disturbed by unrelated traffic, and an optimised UPnP and DLNA implementation gives more reliable discovery of audio devices along with greater stability. ADOT also position it as removing the network variables and configuration that put many listeners off touching their network at all, with the intent that it simply works once connected.
Setup is deliberately simple: connect the ASR-100 to the existing home network, connect the hi-fi devices to it, then join the tablet or phone to its ADOT MUSIC Wi-Fi signal. Alternatively, the unit can be run without any connection to the existing network at all, creating a totally isolated standalone network for complete freedom from external influence. We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
