The Rocket 11 speaker cable utilises both stranded and solid 'Long-Grain Copper' semi-solid true-concentric conductors, a first for AudioQuest. The combination of 'Long-Grain Copper' and true-concentric conductors ensures the Rocket 11 delivers a more balanced, dynamic and cleaner sound. Rocket 11 is available as both single wire and bi-wire configuration.
"True-Concentric" is an industry-standard term for when each layer of strands in a concentric conductor is spiralled in the opposite direction from the layer below, eliminating the lines of contact between the layers, and increasing contact pressure at the points of contact. The downside is much more machine time and higher cost – the upside is a better sound you can hear. True-Concentric construction significantly furthers the beneficial effect of the skin-effect by dramatically increasing layer autonomy.

The Elite Reference AirTite plugs offer significant advantages over traditional screw-based speaker cable plugs. Unlike screw designs, which may loosen over time and potentially impact the connection and sound quality, the Elite Reference plugs use a cold-weld method to create a secure and reliable bond between the cable and the plug. This helps maintain consistent performance and minimises signal loss, supporting clear and high-quality audio. With a ferrule-free design for direct signal transfer, beryllium copper cores, and 24K gold plating, they are engineered for enhanced conductivity and long-lasting durability. Both the SureGrip 100 and SureGrip 300 Banana plugs utilise a stronger base metal, Beryllium Copper, offering higher tensile strength and superior sound to phosphor bronze found on many banana plugs. The SureGrip 100 and SureGrip 300 Spade plugs utilise higher purity Purple Copper which provides cleaner and clearer sound when compared to standard copper or brass used in other "premium" connectors.
The differences between the SureGrip 100s and SureGrip 300s can be found in the amount on metal used in the construction of the plug. The SureGrip 300 uses substantially more metal in the connector compared to the SureGrip 100 resulting in a superior connection between the conductors, the connector and your system.
The coppers of the connector, just as in the speaker cable itself can lend to the cable sounding more detailed, wider soundstage, lowering of the noise floor and protection of the raw conductors. These benefits increase step by step as you progress higher up the series from the Suregrip 100 Beryllium Copper plugs to the Series 1000 Red Copper banana plugs. The plating process also changes as you move up the series, resulting in a thicker and more durable plating.

We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by Future Shop by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

- Cable Compatibility: We regret to inform you that we cannot burn-in cables with stripped bare ends or BFA plugs. In order for cables to undergo the burn-in process, they should be terminated or have connectors.
- Timing: Cables will be burnt in for the selected period after processing your order. For custom-length cables, the burn-in process will occur after they have been terminated by the manufacturer or our engineers unless specified otherwise in the product description.
- Availability: Future Shop provides our cable burn-in service free of charge, but its availability is at our discretion. While we strive to fulfil all burn-in requests for the specified time periods, please understand that during exceptionally busy periods, we may be unable to meet the demand due to limited connections on the Nordost Vidar cable conditioning machines.
The Nordost VIDAR cable burn-in machine integrates three key functions into one operation:
- Charge Neutralisation: It eliminates charges that accumulate around the cables and their insulation, ensuring a more balanced electrical environment.
- Deep Conditioning: The machine provides a wide band and deep conditioning process that affects the conductor core, resulting in changes to the signal transmission through the metal. This deep conditioning enhances the cable's performance.
- Ultrasonic Surface Conditioning: The VIDAR machine utilizes ultrasonic waves to condition the surface of the conductors, optimizing their contact and overall conductivity.

For comparison, Tellurium Q Ultra Blue II has deep, punchy bass with clearly audible layers and a much more lively and roomy sound with depth and without sharpness. This makes it a lot of fun to listen to, and you will continue to listen. Not with Audioquest Rocket 11.
It's a great speaker wire, especially considering its price range. A worthy upgrade.
My only regret is I didn't upgrade my speaker cables earlier!

I subsequently received a telephone call from a technician to say the colour cable I wanted was out of stock but offered an alternative colour. As new stock was expected within a week, I decided to wait.
True to his word, the cables arrived a week later. They were exactly what I ordered and looked very stylish, and are certainly robust. They still need time to “bed in” but I am pleased with the reproduction and sound which I am sure will improve further with time.
It was nice to receive a telephone call from the company explaining the potential delay and offering me an alternative. A company that cares about its customers which makes a pleasant change in this day and age.

The noise floor is quashed. I got 2x2m with Suregrip 300 Banana plugs x 8 for less than £140. I've heard bi-wired speaker cables worth £500 that didn't quite leave the same smile on my face as these.

I’m a first-time buyer from Future Shop, and I am really impressed with the service.
This cable was purchased from Ireland, and delivery was surprisingly quick. I loved the packaging too.
No serious listening was done for several days, allowing the cables to settle down, and run in. Now I have listened and can say these are among the best cables I have heard in my system. They allow the music to leave the speakers, and the bass has depth and impact. The treble has air and space, giving room for voices and instruments to shine. These cables do not give prominence to any given frequency, allowing all of the music to flow from the speakers with ease.
Given the Bi-Wire capability, these are good value for money, as alternatives require two separate runs of cable or are more than twice the cost of single-wire cables of similar performance.
Future Shop despatched these cables promptly, and they arrived in good time, well packed for transit.
Even though I have chosen the 96 hours burn-in option, I feel that day after day the sound gets better! I am using the cables on a budget system Yamaha AS500 amp and Tannoy M3 Mercury speakers, and even though I was using some generic copper cables before, now I have to say that there is an improvement!
The sound is a bit warmer but fuller! Besides the sound, I am very impressed with how good the connectors look! The bananas are connected to the wires extremely professionally!
