Mythical Creatures
Thunderbird, Firebird and Dragon. The reference tier, and the only AudioQuest naming that runs across every cable type.
Mythical Creatures is AudioQuest's reference tier and covers Thunderbird, Firebird and Dragon in ascending order. It is the only AudioQuest naming that runs across the whole catalogue, so a Dragon speaker cable, a Dragon HDMI and a Dragon mains cable all sit at the same point.
That makes it the simplest part of the AudioQuest range to understand, and the most expensive. Everything below it is named by cable type, which is why matching across types is difficult lower down and straightforward here.
Below it sit Diamond on the digital side, Folk Heroes on the speaker side and Mythical Horses on the analogue side. Mythical Creatures suits a system where the electronics and speakers are already at a comparable level.
