Not every cable in a system is a performance decision. A wall plate, an adaptor to make an old device fit a new socket, a length of speaker cable for a garden run, a USB extension for a printer. Goobay make those, properly, at prices that reflect what they are.
The German engineering standards apply even at the low end, which is the difference between a Goobay adaptor and a supermarket one: the tolerances hold, the shielding is present where it should be, and the connectors do not go loose after a month.
