Distribution and video wall for installation
SEADA build the signal distribution equipment behind commercial AV from their base in Worcestershire: matrix switchers, HDMI and HDBaseT extension, video wall controllers and the processing that sits between a source and multiple displays. The business is ISO 9001 certified.
Video wall is where they are most specified. Driving several displays as one image needs processing an ordinary splitter cannot do, and the SolarWall controllers handle it in hardware, using FPGA and crossbar switching rather than running on a PC. No operating system means no software conflicts and no boot sequence, which matters in a control room that has to come back up after a power cut. The larger chassis scale to hundreds of inputs.
The customer here is an integrator rather than a listener, and the priorities are reliability, control integration and documentation. Conference room products sit alongside, including motorised monitors and retractable displays.
