ARAY conductor geometry allows us to produce cables that carry high levels of detail and dynamic information. Most importantly, this ARAY conductor cable carries signals with real musical coherence. Every ClearwayX interconnect is built to an exacting standard and rigorously tested at their UK facility. The ClearwayX Analogue is part of the newest range of interconnects and speaker cables, now all featuring XLPE insulation.
The Clearway Analogue features Chord's unique ARAY conductor geometry. Conductors are high-quality oxygen-free copper, insulated with XLPE and mechanically damped with a specially selected PVC. Shielding is provided by dual layer heavy gauge foil.
The Clearway is fitted with Chord VEE 3 RCA plugs, including XLPE insulation between signal / return contacts. The VEE 3 RCA is a low mass RCA plug with direct silver-plating to improve signal transfer. The cable is available as custom lengths and Terminations. The Clearway is also available in silver-plated XLR and silver-plated DIN connectors.

ARAY is Chord's conductor geometry. The Signature digital cables pair it with silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors, PTFE insulation and silver-plated braid and foil screening. Tuned ARAY is a later development of the same idea and appears in the Epic, Signature, Sarum and Shawline ranges, while ClearwayX carries ARAY.

A lot of our customers own Naim. Naim's DIN inputs need a specific cable that most brands simply do not make, and Chord build them properly, in Wiltshire, by hand. If you are running a Naim system and you want an interconnect that fits it correctly, this is where you end up. We have stocked them since 2007.
New cables (even high-quality ones) benefit from a period of signal conditioning before reaching their optimum performance. The dielectric (insulation) around the conductors needs time to stabilise under the electromagnetic field created by signal flow. Rather than leaving this to you, we run cables on our Nordost Vidar burn-in machine before dispatch, up to the equivalent of 200 hours of use, in a fraction of the time. Your cable arrives performance-ready from the first listen.

- Timing: Cables will be burnt in for the selected period after processing your order. For custom-length cables, the burn-in process will occur after they have been terminated by the manufacturer or our engineers unless specified otherwise in the product description.
- Availability: Future Shop provides our cable burn-in service free of charge, but its availability is at our discretion. Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.

- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion

The cables arrived the following day. So the service was excellent.
The sound is good, my bass is a lot more solid and punchy, and the vocal is so much clearer. The sound in the car is much louder with the Chord ClearwayX Aray 2 RCA to 2 RCA cable than with the old Optical cable I had.
It is so much smoother and softer on the vocals.
