The 23mm thick plinth is made of HDF, a strong and lightweight composite material, and is designed to reduce resonance by strategically removing material in key areas. The result is a turntable that not only looks sleek and elegant in its black lacquer finish but also offers exceptional sound quality.

A new turntable: introducing the T-5
The all-new T-5 is our answer to the needs of contemporary audiophiles – a great performer designed to be compact, practical and smart. Our unique sound signature is the foundation for this turntable, and it’s a constant in our designs as our company DNA is rooted in the art of reproducing vinyl.
For the T-5, we have developed a 15mm thick platter made of ultra-clear glass, a high-quality material that provides the right density and structure to extract fine details from the groove while minimising noise. The platter is matched with an inverted bearing, an elegant solution to increase the stability of the platter while also ensuring frictionless rotation.
The plinth is 23mm thick and made of HDF, a high-density composite material that’s strong and light. The plinth is further refined by removing material in strategic points (around the motor, the bearing and the edges) to create a shape that minimises resonance by breaking the transmission pattern of vibrations.
Available with an elegant black lacquer finish, it comes with our acclaimed B-5.2 tonearm and the removable dust cover in transparent acrylic.
As all our turntables, the T-5 is made by hand in Italy with love and care.

Gold Note is an Italian company near Florence, with a factory in Montespertoli, Tuscany. It makes turntables, cartridges, phono stages, streaming DACs, amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, power supplies, CD players and loudspeakers. Turntables and cartridges from one maker
The turntables include the Mediterraneo, Giglio, Pianosa and Valore, and the cartridges include the Tuscany, Machiavelli, Donatello and Vasari. The B-5 tonearm design dates from 1992 and has changed little since. Both lists come from one maker, so a deck and a cartridge can be chosen together.
Electronics with a plain, clean layout
Gold Note builds integrated amplifiers such as the IS-10 and IS-1000, the DS-10 EVO streamer, power amplifiers and phono stages. Its stated approach is clean circuitry, solid power supplies and a minimal look, and its factory makes its own cases and circuit boards.
Phono stages for different cartridges
The PH-5.2 phono stage is an update of the PH-5, with a black anodised aluminium chassis, an upgraded power supply and a revised display layout. Phono stages sit alongside the turntables and cartridges, so a complete vinyl front end can come from one brand.

European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.

Special Delivery UK - Guaranteed Next Working Day
We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.
Channel Islands & Northern Ireland
We accept orders from all Channel Islands including Alderney, Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.

- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7-10 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.
Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe

- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion
