IsoTek EVO3 ISOPLUG
Deploy IsoPlug around your home to stop Differential Mains noise created by personal computers, fridge freezers, microwave ovens, in fact anything with a power supply. Simply plug into wall sockets next to these appliances for immediate effect.
- Removes Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise.
- Shunts mains noise away from your sensitive audio components.
- Can be deployed next to devices that create mains noise.
- Useful and cost effective way to upgrade a standard mains distribution block.
- 8,000A of instantaneous protection.
The IsoPlug forms the first line of defence against mains noise – simply plug the device in any spare wall sockets and switch the socket on. Its design builds upon the industry standard of a delta filter configuration across the three poles of the mains, delivering highly effective results when plugged next to noisy appliances like fridges, computers and so on. IsoPlug also features over-voltage protection. The GII IsoPlug features a highly effective circuit that cancels mains noise around the ring main within your home. In sonic terms the GII IsoPlug has a way of making the music more involving to listen to. The mid-range, where the ear is more sensitive, is extremely open with an increased realism in terms of imaging. Simply plug the IsoPlug into any UK 13A socket, European schuko or U.S. three pin next to, or as close as possible, to any domestic appliance that produces, or is suspected of producing noise. This will prevent it from polluting the mains in the rest of your home. Use the IsoPlug to eliminate mains noise so that your Hi-Fi or A/V system can perform at its best. More than one IsoPlug can be used to reduce mains noise further. We suggest that you should start with the socket next to your system, and then position additional IsoPlugs near noisy appliances, fridge freezer, computers, etc. There is no harm in experimentation. Make sure your plug socket switch is in the on position. Although the IsoPlug works brilliantly on its own further benefits can be achieved when more than one are used together.

Two kinds of mains noise, filtered separately
IsoTek treats mains noise as two problems. Differential mode filtering deals with noise between the live and neutral conductors, while common mode filtering removes RFI carried on the supply as a whole. Products with several outlets give each outlet its own filter, and the Syncro technology cancels DC on the mains.
Protection and layout as well as filtering
Filtering is paired with protection and circuit layout. Surge protection uses VDRs, and the products use a starred earth design, in which each outlet has its own path back to a single earth point. The Titan products use a Direct Coupled circuit, and the Genesis series generates a clean sine wave.
A ladder that starts at Discovery
Discovery is the entry level. The EVO3 range has four levels, Initium, Premier, Sequel and Optimum, and the Ultimate series is a further line, with V5 and One Series variants. Titan, Aquarius, Nova and Sirius are among the model names, so you can build up your power setup step by step.
Why we stock IsoTek
Electrical noise in the average home has got worse every year we have been trading. More switching supplies, more devices on the ring main, more wifi. IsoTek is where we send you when the system is good but the noise floor is holding it back. Cleaning up what goes in is a different job from what a cable can do.

The IsoTek EVO3 ISOPLUG is an electrical conditioner designed to clean mains power for audio systems. Most reviewers report noticeable improvements in sound quality, particularly in clarity, detail, and high-frequency performance, with several noting enhanced bass and mid-tone definition. Some users describe results as incremental rather than dramatic. One reviewer found a competitor product (Russ Andrews Silencer) more effective in their setup. Customers consistently praise fast shipping and excellent service from the retailer. Build quality appears solid with a compact design. One recurring negative theme is that results are subjective and may vary by system configuration, with one reviewer requiring extended use to assess effectiveness.
TBH the (cheaper) Russ Andrews Silencer has had a more noticeable effect on my system where i can see and hear a slight improvement. But its still early days for the EVO3 and maybe i will see more differences with greater usage.
FUTURESHOP's service and reliability are still excellent no matter what.
Smoother, sharper image: plug in before your sources and hear and see an improved quality.
My Linn has never sounded so good. It has a cleaner sound with more presence….I might just buy another…
I left it for a couple of days, put an LP on it, and noticed a slight difference in the overall sound.
An incremental difference is always worth it.
Given the low cost of the Isotek, I would recommend the investment.
I will be purchasing another to add to the chain. If all goes well, this will be a further enhancement. Happy buyer.
