The new V5 Aquarius mains conditioner by Isotek is an upgrade on the EVO3 model, and features six outlets, with two of these dedicated to high-current equipment like power amplifiers or subwoofers. Each outlet benefits from its own isolated circuitry, effectively making this unit six conditioners in one!

The original Aquarius was one of the most cost-effective power cleaning upgrades money could buy. The new V5 model takes the Aquarius concept to a higher level. There is more instant on tap power due to an increased 35% circuit board copper loading, direct current resistance is at least 25% improved moving closer to the ideal of zero Ohms. Protection is also raised to 81,000A instantaneous. This six-way mains power-cleaning unit resets the market standard. Two high-current outlets are provided for amplifiers, subwoofers and so on, with four medium-current sockets for other components. Each outlet of Aquarius has its own dedicated power-cleaning network, thus six power cleaners in one box!

Design
IsoTek’s iconic Aquarius power cleaning system has been dramatically improved and boldly restyled. The V5 model is not only state of the art in its visual design, appearing hewn from a single block of aluminum but harness the latest technical innovations from a leading brand in the specialist field of power systems for audio and AV.
The V5 Aquarius is an innovative power cleaning and distribution system measuring 450mm in width, 350mm deep and 110mm high. It features 6 independent outlets each one with its own dedicated power cleaning network. Thus, Aquarius is six power cleaning networks in one box. Both Differential Mode and Common Mode noise are dramatically reduced. Cross contamination of connected components is also kept to a minimum due to the multiple power cleaning stages for each output socket. Most power filters join output sockets together, running each in series. This is an error as Differential Mode Noise created by your connected electronics will cross contaminate from one output socket to the next.
The electrical architecture and design of the V5 Aquarius is dramatically improved. PCB design and topology has been reworked, offering over 35% impoved amperage and decreased resistance. Unique critical (bespoke) components have better overall tolerances with improved inductance and current handling. The new circuit offers twice the inductance, with 40% increase in current leading to more open sound staging, micro dynamics and detail with more immediate timing. Dramatically improved Direct Current Resistance (DCR) has been applied throughout the design. Part of the IsoTek goal being to reduce DCR bringing performance closer to the zero Ohms ideal, V5 Aquarius is at least 25% improved compared to its predecessor.
These technological improvements result in the V5 Aquarius delivering absolute power, unrestricted current delivery within what the power company can supply, and regulations allow.
The V5 design features two thermo magnetic fuses, one rated at 16A for the two high current power output sockets, delivering 3,680W at 230V or 1,840W at 115V. The second rated at 6A for the four remaining medium current output sockets, delivering 1,380W at 230V or 690W at 115V, these are dedicated for source components and feature IsoTek’s unique Adaptive Gating © technology. This autosenses the connected load and gives the ideal optimal clean power based upon power draw.
The thermomagnetic system is a substantial upgrade over a standard ordinary fuse due to contact area. By shear virtue of its electrical function a standard fuse must have a very thin wire, this being also true of expensive audiophile grade gold plated versions. The IsoTek thermo magnetic fuse system offers an increased contact area at least 1000 times better, and a connection which is consistently strong.
KERP © (Kirchhoff’s Equal Resistance Path) ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to all outlets. The internal wiring is of the highest standard – ultra pure Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid core conductor strands with silver-plating offers low resistance and high amperage. A Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) helix is wound around the conductor before an extruded FEP dielectric protects the conductor and creates a Virtual Dielectric of Air dielectric (VDA). This construction gives unrivalled performance and gives the ultimate low resistance, high performance internal power delivery system. Furthermore, 81,000A of instantaneous protection is provided, safeguarding valuable equipment via IsoTek’s unique sequential and repeatable protection system.
The internal wiring of IsoTek products synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area, is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.
V5 Aquarius also contains a System Link outlet, this is designed to connect multiple units together, maintaining a stared earth reference, and preserving the need for multiple wall outlet sockets.

Unless you select a premium service, Items weighing under 2KG are delivered using our standard UK delivery option above. For items weighing over 2KG, a surcharge may be applied for all deliveries to the Channel Islands as well as Northern Ireland.
European Countries
Deliveries to EU member states are not subject to 20% VAT after December 31st 2020 and therefore the 20% VAT on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
The customer will be liable for the VAT at the local VAT rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee if applicable. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 3 to 5 working days.
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7-10 working days.
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe.
- Federal Express International Economy - Item are usually delivered within 48 to 72 hours.
We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). If we need to change your shipping method, we will choose the least expensive shipping method for your order.

Good product!
Despite being fairly expensive, I took the plunge. The Aquarius 5 is excellent. It tightens everything up and retrieves so much detail. It's added the 10% I thought was there and maybe more.
