NuPrime LPS-212 12V Linear Power Supply
The LPS-205 by NuPrime is an excellent 12V power supply for low power devices like DACS and streamers, featuring two DC outputs (one rated 12V/2A and one 12V/1A). The LPS-205 and LPS-212 both benefit from a fanless design which aids their low-noise performance, and come with a DC to micro-USB adaptor to boost their compatibility with your audio equipment.
What NuPrime say
The NuPrime LPS-212 is a low noise, clean power, fully balanced El-frame architecture linear power supply designed for audiophiles.
Low power devices such as DAC, streamer, CD player, media server, and digital music player are susceptible to AC noise from switching mode power adapter. However, not any linear power supply will suffice as a replacement for the switching mode power supply.
NuPrime LPS-212 linear power supply incorporated a fully balanced El-frame transformer architecture design that is less susceptibility to core saturation from DC offset.

Hybrid Class-D drives the amplifiers
NuPrime uses a Hybrid Class-D amplifier design, which the company says lets it tune the sound signature. The range includes the Evolution One amplifier and the Omnia A300SE integrated amplifier. Check the product page for power output and the speaker impedance each model suits.
DACs cover several price points
The DAC range includes the DAC-9SE, DAC-9X, Hi-mDAC, DAC-10 and Evolution DAC. They differ in inputs and in what they offer beyond the conversion itself. Compare the specification of each model against the source you plan to use, and check how each one is connected.
Power supplies and network parts support the system
The LPS-205 and LPS-212 are linear power supplies for 5V and 12V devices, and the Omnia SW-8 and Omnia WR-2 are network components. About 30 percent of parts come from American suppliers, according to NuPrime. Check the product page for the voltage and connector type before you order.
