QED Performance Graphite Ethernet Cable
Performance Ethernet is designed specifically for the transmission of high definition digital audio.
The Performance Ethernet cable is able to transmit high definition digital audio between networked Ethernet components and is ideal for HD audio streamer applications up to 24 bit/192kHz. At QED, they have identified that reducing jitter or timing errors within the digital signal makes for cleaner audio transmission and with Ethernet this is no different. With CAT 6 UTP specification and 250MHz bandwidth, the Performance Ethernet is more than equipped to handle the latest high definition digital audio.
8/8 RJ45 Gold Plated Connectors
Stranded 24AWG 99.999% OFC copper conductors and gold plated 8/8 RJ45 jack plugs to maintain low insertion loss figures throughout the life of the cable by minimising signal reflections and keeping contact resistances low
High Bandwidth
Most ordinary patch cables are constructed to the Cat5e standard and are only specified for data rates up to 100MHz. The QED Performance Ethernet cable is an over-specified CAT6 UTP patch cable capable of data rates up to 250MHz - which gives it plenty of headroom when used in an HD Audio streamer application.
Asymmetric Twist Rates for Reduced Cross-Talk
A polyethylene former is used to physically separate each twisted pair into its own compartment within the cable keeping the geometry extremely uniform. This further contributes to the elimination of cross-talk within the cable and maintains the tight 100 ohm characteristic impedance demanded by the Cat6 UTP standard. Installer products for longer runs

We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Customers consistently praise this QED graphite Ethernet cable for superior build quality, robust connectors, and reliable performance at competitive pricing. The product delivers tangible improvements in network stability, connection speed, and reduced lag across streaming devices, TVs, and audio systems. I now want to upgrade other cables for my music….all worth it.
Sound quality improved massively on the soundbar and the surround, and OLED picture quality improved as well. No more lag, this is a must-buy cable if you're getting streaming problems.
These were ideal for my purpose, and I'm impressed with their quality, as I'm increasingly impressed with QED's products, which, moreover, are reasonably priced.
They actually came well within the specified time, over a bank holiday weekend! Many thanks, and they are working as promised !
At first, I wasn't so sure about the sound, but many hours of switching and listening have convinced me the sound quality is better and more 'controlled' over WiFi. I listen to high-res material through a laptop feeding a Fiio K5pro and Meze Classics headphones. Oh, and I would also recommend ethernet on a stable connection alone.
