SDM-HBT3-TRX – HDBaseT3 Full 4K SDM Transceiver Module
The CYP SDM-HBT3-TRX is an HDBaseT3 transceiver module built for CYP's SDM (Signal Diversified Module) platform, giving installers a single card that can be configured as either a transmitter or a receiver. Mode is set with a physical slide switch on the module, so the same part can send HDMI from a host product's inputs to a remote HDBaseT3 receiver, or take a feed from an HDBaseT3 transmitter and pass it into the host system for output. This flexibility simplifies specification and stock-holding, since one module covers both ends of a point to point link.
Installed in a compatible host, the SDM-HBT3-TRX extends point to point HDMI video and audio at resolutions up to 4K@60 with full 4:4:4 colour, carrying the signal up to 40 metres over a single Cat6A or Cat7 cable. It is built to the HDBaseT3 standard and remains backwards compatible with HDBaseT 2.0 and 1.0, so it can sit alongside existing HDBaseT infrastructure. The module is HDMI 2.0 compatible and HDCP 1.x and 2.2 compliant, and it supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, preserving the contrast and colour detail of high dynamic range content from source to display.
As part of the modular SDM range, the SDM-HBT3-TRX slots into host platforms such as the OR-32SDMI matrix and the OR-PIP42SDMO multi-view processor, drawing its power directly from the host so there is no separate supply to manage. At just 82mm wide, 25mm high and 111mm deep and weighing only 72g, it keeps the host installation neat while adding flexible HDBaseT extension to the system. The SDM-HBT3-TRX is TAA compliant, suiting public sector and government procurement requirements, and is backed by a five year warranty.

We reserve the right to change your shipping method without notification if you select a method that we cannot use for your shipment (for instance, we cannot ship via postal services for items over 2 Kg to International destinations). Worldwide - Excluding UK & Europe
Deliveries outside of the UK are not subject to 20% VAT and so the 20% tax on items is automatically deducted when you log-in, register or proceed to place an order.
If applicable, the customer will be liable for the taxes at the local tax rate, duty on the import and the brokerage service fee. This may need to be paid in advance to your local Customs & Excise office or the delivery company before your order can be delivered.
We offer the following shipping services:
- Royal Mail First Class International Airmail Services - Items are usually delivered within 7 to 10 working days
- Royal Mail Standard International Mail Services - Items are usually delivered within 15 working days
- DHL Express International - Items are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. DHL orders must be received by 3:30pm for next day service to most destinations in Europe
- Federal Express International Priority - Items are usually delivered within 48 hours. FedEx orders must be received by 3.00pm in order to ship items the same day, subject to stock availability
- Where the actual weight of the package significantly exceeds the shipping cost charged on orders, we may write to you for an additional shipping charge. For larger orders, items may be shipped in multiple packets at our discretion
