SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution
The SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution exists to solve the compromise that defines almost every compact subwoofer: shrink the cabinet and you surrender output, extension and control. SVS attack that by putting two 9-inch high-excursion drivers into an 11-inch sealed enclosure, mounted opposing one another and firing from the sides, wired acoustically and electrically in parallel. Because the two drivers move in perfect opposition, their reaction forces cancel, so the cabinet stays inert even at full excursion instead of walking across the floor or rattling the shelf it sits on. Each driver carries 27.3mm of Xmax on an NBR extreme-excursion surround, a one-piece 1100 aluminium cone and a four-layer copper voice coil, which is what allows a box this size to move enough air to reach 20Hz.
Driving them is a discrete Class D amplifier rated at 1,200 watts continuous and over 4,000 watts peak, a 50% increase in RMS power over the previous generation. Four 60A 200V MOSFETs in full bridge configuration deliver more than 100Vrms across the pair, fed by a digitally controlled switch mode supply that holds a regulated 160V rail and monitors incoming AC conditions to adapt to the mains it finds. Behind it sits a 295MHz Analog Devices DSP with 56-bit double precision filtering and five times the processing power of earlier SVS designs, running real-time excursion and current monitoring thousands of times per second. Distortion is held below 0.05% THD+N at rated power.
Practical control is where it earns its place in a living room. The SVS Subwoofer Control app connects over Bluetooth from iOS, Android or Fire devices and exposes volume, a fully adjustable low pass filter, phase, polarity, six parametric EQ bands, room gain compensation and three memory presets, plus Auto Room EQ that measures the response at the listening seat using the phone's microphone. Connection is by unbalanced RCA or balanced XLR, with 12V trigger and IR inputs for control systems and a rear OLED display with a flip function for upside-down installations.

About SVS
SVS is an American loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1998 and best known for producing subwoofers and speakers that consistently outperform their price point. We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. SVS is an American loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1998 and best known for producing subwoofers and speakers that consistently outperform their price point. We use Royal Mail 1st Class services for our Standard Delivery.
Orders received before 4.30 pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. This does not apply to custom-length cables and speaker cables as these require a longer timescale to terminate. This also excludes all cables selected for the burn-in service. Please note, we do not process orders on national holidays in the UK. Over 98% of our orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays. In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Future Shop. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD Local or DHL for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order subject to stock availability. For international orders, we use FedEx or DHL services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths may be subject to longer deliver time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
