what's this?
SPEAKER CABLES:

A quantity of 2 means you will receive a pair of speaker cables e.g. for your front left and front right speakers. By entering a quantity of 1, you will get a cable for a single speaker e.g. centre speaker and this option also enables you to vary the length (and termination) of your cable for each speaker.

OTHER CABLES:

A quantity of 1 means you will receive a single cable in the case of aerial, satellite, subwoofer, digital coaxial & optical cables and a pair of cables in the case of 2 rca to 2 rca analogue audio cables.

NON-CABLE PRODUCTS:

A quantity of 1 means you will receive 1 of the specified products.

The brand new Purple Fuse is Synergistic Research's latest flagship fuse, surpassing the performance of the remarkable Orange fuses thanks to a new, three-stage conditioning process and a new premium graphene UEF compound to reduce the noise floor further than has ever been possible for Synergistic Research fuses. Slow-blow fuses are most commonly found in high-powered electrical equipment. They are more tolerant to high current passing through, meaning the fuse will withstand sudden high current flowing through the unit. Slow-blow fuses should be used where the equipment utilises large amounts of power, especially when switched on, like power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers or headphone amps. When installing your new fuse, please ensure you test the fuse in both directions as they are directional from left to right. When the fuse is inserted in the correct direction it will sound more detailed.

Please note: this product is currently available for pre-order, with stock expected at the end of October/early November.

What Synergistic Research say

The new Purple Fuse surpasses the Orange Fuse with technology initially developed for our state-of-the-art SRX Series cables. In fact, before two last-minute breakthrough SRX technologies, Synergistic Research could not better the Orange Fuse with its impossible combination of detail and rich harmonic musicality. As a result, they were set to forgo a new fuse introduction for 2022 as they could not build anything better sounding than Orange despite two years of trying. It was not until SR finalized two new technologies, namely a three-stage long duration high voltage conditioning process and a brand new UEF compound featuring Graphene, that they were able to beat the Orange Fuse significantly. Together these new technologies create a larger soundstage with better image focus and higher resolution from a perceived lowering of the noise floor. Of all the fuse generations and refinements pioneered over the past decade, the new Purple Fuses are by far the best sounding and take the single greatest leap in performance over previous generations. All aspects of subjective sound quality get enhanced, including natural sound where instruments and vocals sound inherently right, dynamics, low-level detail, high-frequency extension, and smoothness all take a massive leap forward.

How fuses alter the sound of your system:

For over one hundred years people believed electrons flowed like water through a pipe and that once ‘contaminated’ by miles of wire, there was little or nothing that could be done to ‘clean’ the electricity feeding your components. Consider this: the electricity feeding your system’s components first propagates through a single fuse. This is why significant gains in sound quality are possible when you insert an SR Black or Blue Fuses into each of your components.

Today physicists understand electrons don’t flow at all but rather propagate in a wave of energy that moves along a conductor with a multitude of factors that alters this wave at the quantum level. To understand how electricity travels without electrons ever leaving their respective atoms it is helpful to consider the spectator ‘wave’ at a football match. Even though you can clearly see a wave pattern moving from spectator to spectator as fans raise and then lower their hands (without hands jumping from one person to the next), so too does electricity ‘move’ without electrons ever leaving their atoms. At Synergistic Research they have isolated key factors that affect how electricity propagates by changing the behavior of electrons through Inductive Quantum Coupling methods we collectively call UEF Tech. In fact, UEF Tech is so powerful even an electrical chain several miles long is fundimentally improved with nothing more than a single fuse engineered with Synergistic Research's patented UEF Technology.

About Synergistic Research

Synergistic Research have focus on a total system approach to create synergy in your system. All aspects of performance are taken into account and because there's more to synergy than just cables. Synergistic Research have developed some of the world's most innovative solutions like PowerCell line conditioners the Acoustic ART room treatments, MiG component resonators, Galileo Universal Cable Cells.

Of course audio cable, power cords and audio grade fuses are big contributors to system performance second only to room acoustics they have also pioneered ground breaking technologies such as Active Shielding with air dielectrics and custom tuneable cables with Enigma Bullets to get closer to the music than ever before. Synergistic Research also looked at one most important parts of any music system the AC wall socket.

The quality, structure, and efficiency of the AC entering your music system plays a profound role in the musicality and dimensionality of the music your system can reproduce this is why it is important to look further than just the audio system. Synergistic Research has many of the solutions to this age old problem of AC quality entering your music system wihch makes it the best choice for audiophile grade fuses.
