The Black Diamond Level are Tellurium Q in a cable. These have just been released and are Tellurium's proudest work. The Black Diamond XLR uses Tellurium's own TeCu connector and is the most natural sounding cable in the range, which is saying something.
These XLR interconnects have been designed to have the lowest capacitance that Tellurium could build in and the highest possible bandwidth with enhanced shielding.

Far more impact than an enormously expensive server upgrade.
Huge soundstage, neutral through the mid to high frequencies. And as good as the mid and top end are, the bass is exemplary. Tuneful, powerful and deep bass.
My equipement : Jays CDT 3MK cd transport. Luxman L595 ASE class A integrated. QLN Prestige One speakers. Denafrips Terminator 12th DAC.
I highly recommend it.
Not cheap if you just look at the price, but a bargain when related to sound quality. I am waiting for my last set that is currently being burned in for 96 hours.

It's taken me a long time to put this system together. The cables are the last part of this system. I have the Cambridge audio 851 seperates 851n, 851e, 2 x 851w feeding Proac tablette Ref 8 Signature speakers. I'm using Tellurium Q Silver Diamond XLR between the 851n and 851e and the Black Diamond XLR from the 851e to the two 851w power amps.
This is one killer combination of cables that produce the most amazing soundstage images, way beyond what I could have ever imagined. Beautiful and very deep bass full of texture and extreme details, and the details are not overblown in any way. They just help complete that picture; both male and female voices are to die for, again, there are more details to voices, and being natural in the extreme, the depth and width of the soundstage is pretty mindblowing. You really wouldn't think the speakers are as tiny as they are when you have your eyes closed, and with your eyes closed, it is impossible to pinpoint where your speakers are in your room. The images projected from the speakers are so solid, so lifelike and natural in the extreme.
I really researched the whole of this system before buying it all. Some may think the cost of the cables is way out of proportion to all the components I purchased, but everything I bought punches way above its price tag. Both the Tellurium Q Silver and Black Diamond cables work in complete synergy. I really do think I will be hard pressed to beat at any price, and if there are any better cables out there, then I dont think they'll be that much better!. I got secondhand Silver Diamonds, so no burn-in was required, but the Black Diamonds came with 96 hours of burn-in. They sound just amazing, and from what I understand, a good few out there will keep improving for another 200 or so hours. Wow!!
I cannot recommend Black Diamonds highly enough, and to think I still have the Black Diamond speaker cables to add yet as I'm only using much cheaper cables at the moment. That's going to take a good few months of saving, so about Xmas time, look out for the review of the speaker cables on here!!!

These were probably slightly above entry-level , but I was after the greater resolution but with smoother presentation offered (and I had found in my earlier purchase) by the Tellurium Q Black Diamond XLR Balanced Interconnect Cable. This was an upgrade that was appropriate for the quality of my equipment.
I ordered them from Futureshop with their free (96 hour) burn in, so that I could use them straight the way, with no waiting for the the cables to settle down. When they arrived I played a CD with the existing setup, then installed the new cables, and replayed the CD. I was very impressed with the performance: - Clearer and more focussed, with a more realistic soundstage. Massively impressed!
I would highly recommend these cables, and also the service I got from Futureshop, with the free burn-in facility, and excellent delivery service from the ir carrier, DPD.
What should I say? Tellurium Black Diamond are among the few cables which are able to perform as beautifully as I really like to listen to: naturally rich tones, wide timbers palette, great soundstage rithm and presence. The quality of such a handmade British product is not only outstanding but surely outperforming over more highly priced cables from around the world.
When I first heard the black diamonds in my system I had just turned on a Sky music channel for back ground noise & I was brought to a standstill by what I was hearing. Please note: We are unable to burn-in cables with stripped bare ends or BFA plugs. Cable burn-in occurs after your order has been processed for the selected time period. For custom-length cables, burn-in takes place after termination by the manufacturer or our skilled engineers.
The Nordost VIDAR cable burn-in machine seamlessly combines three vital functions into a single operation:
- Neutralising charges around cables and insulation: The VIDAR 2 effectively dissipates any built-up charges, creating an optimal environment for signal transmission.
- Deep conditioning into the conductor core: With its wide band and profound conditioning capabilities, the machine induces significant changes in signal passage through the metal, resulting in enhanced performance.
- Ultrasonic surface conditioning of conductors: The VIDAR 2 employs ultrasonic technology to refine the conductor surface, further refining the signal quality.
In addition to all the advantages of its predecessor, the VIDAR 2 introduces remarkable improvements, including:
- Complex burn-in signal with wider bandwidth and richer content
- Enhanced directionality for cables
- FOUR burn-in zones - including a new digital zone for USB, Ethernet, and Coaxial (BNC) cables.
Using a proprietary blend of composite and complex signals, the VIDAR 2 ensures comprehensive cable conditioning. The signal consists of ultra-low and ultra-high frequencies, surpassing video frequency ranges.
